Jam Muffins

I made this recipe and I was NOT happy with it. I made it just as directed which I try to always do this the first time. I found them to be very heavy and not light in the least. I might make these again because we always have the ingredients on hand. Next time I will follow the other reviewers suggestions and put the jam in the middle. I don't know what I did wrong for them to end up so dense and heavy though... too bad that I didn't like these. I really wanted to!

Almond Bark Drop Cookies

I've been on a total peanut butter kick lately and these really hit the spot. I didn't have pecans so I threw in some pretzels that I had crunched up. I think the little bit of salt on the pretzels REALLY made it yummy. TRY THESE!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

I made this tonight for our date night along with mashed new potatoes with garlic butter and brown sugar glazed carrots. My husband LOVED this chicken and so did I. Sadly, I didn't have mushrooms but I only missed them because I knew that they were supposed to be in there. The vinegar mellows out quite nicely and you're left with a rich delicious sauce and a perfectly cooked piece of chicken. Bookmark this recipe and don't forget about it.

Chocolate Pudding Cake III

This was yummy! I'm only giving it 4 stars because I think it was a tad bland. Next time I will jazz it up by using a different flavor of extract. Maybe rum extract.. or peppermint. Overall - definitely a keeper!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

I made this recipe to the "T" and WOW is it yummy. I used bone in thighs and next time I will use a boneless cut of meat. Except for wings. I can't wait to try this sauce on some wings!

Award Winning Chili Con Carne

I made this chili to take to a wake. (unfortunately) The family loved it! Within 10 minutes my 2qt. crock pot was EMPTY. I forgot the Tabasco at the end and that would have made it perfect.

Chicken Fajita Melts

We really liked this but I don't think there is anything "fajita" about it. In my opinion Fajitas are grilled and this is far from it. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed this and will make it again, but don't be disappointed when it doesn't taste like fajitas. Also: we made this again but with a BBQ chicken twist and ohhh so yummy.

Easiest Oven Baked Chicken

I made this as written only to add black pepper, onion powder and paprika to the cracker crumbs. My entire family loved this chicken. I'm only giving it 4 stars because most of the butter was wasted. One stick would have been plenty.

No Bake Cookies V

My husband made these tonight and they turned out a little bit flat and flimsy. They didn't set up. The first recipe that I tried from this site said to take the cookies off of the heat as soon as they come to a boil. For some reason that worked better for me as far as texture goes. But as always - great flavor. I love these old fashioned cookies.

Fried Butterflied Shrimp

The shrimp turned out tasty but I'm not overly impressed with this coating. It fell off of the shrimp at first, but when I kicked up the heat on the oil it held on better. However the increase in temp made the shrimp a little too brown and crispy in my opinion.
