Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
I love this recipe.. I omit the salt (because I have high blood pressure). I use Mrs. Dash table blend about half way through the cooking, I sprinkle some parmesan cheese (the kind you sprinkle on pizza) all over the brussel sprouts.

just alright...spiced it up with a bit of cayenne pepper. possibly needed more spices added to the pre-fried chop...

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
Ive modified this recipe by increasing the salt to a tablespoon and adding a little extra olive oil. I use the rapid rise yeast and add about 1 tablespoon of italian herbs. After the dough rises for about a half hour, i halve it and make 2 thin crust pizzas. Delish! Im glad we finally started making our own crust! Thanks for the recipe!!!

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
This was my first time making pancakes from scratch. They are VERY fluffy. My husband liked them a lot. I did cut back the recipe...it makes a LOT of pancakes :)

Cucumber Soup II

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
Ick... The flavor was okay at best and the texture was just awful. I unfortunately made a full sized batch and will now have to find some way to eat it all. I can't stand throwing out that much buttermilk and cottage cheese.

Blueberry Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
Made this recipe the other day. I didnt used shortening....I dunno why the idea freaked me out but it did so I just used butter. And I substituted brown sugar...which I think was a mistake. This bread is very tasty but I think it needed a touch more sugar or...something. I will try to make this again :)
