Quick Creamy Potato Soup

Best potato soup I've ever tasted. But I made a few changes to it. -extra onions -green peppers -carrots -didn't drain any bacon grease since I added extra vegetables -used cream of chicken and broccoli -added a little garlic salt, garlic powder, onion powder, celery salt, and tiny bit of oregeno

Turkey Pot Pie I

THis is an excellent recipe that my husband loved. The flavor was great...although, I added some rubbed sage, garlic powder and thyme. The only complaint that I have is that, as other reviewers have noted, the filling is not as moist as traditional pot pies. However, that can easily be remedied by adding additional liquid as the veggies simmer. All in all, a great additional to my recipes I use for left over chicken and turkey carcasses.

Sweet Potato Pie II

The recipe turned out great.....tasting better than my pumpkin pie recipe. I did modify the recipe just a bit....incorporating the eggs all at once instead of beting the egg whites separate (serious time saver) and using sweetened condensed milk instead of the evaporated milk AND sugar. I doubled the recipe tto make two pies and they both came out perfectly fine. I would recommend baking tthe sweet potatoes in the oven for two hours and using a food processor to make the potatoes smooth for a better texture. This recipe even allows for a slight mishap of forgetting to turn the oven temperature down. THANKS FOR THE GREAT RECIPE!!!!

Kielbasa with Brussels Sprouts

This was so good and I am not a fan of Brussels Sprouts. I did saute the onions in Olive Oil with 2 cloves of garlic. Added the sausage and spouts to the onion garlic mix to brown the sausage and cook the sprouts. After placing into the serving bowl I added grated parmesean cheese to melt on the top.

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

This was awesome. Cooked it exactly like it said to and it was the most tender chicken I have ever eaten. Delish! I added some other seasonings of course (garlic salt, pepper, etc) but that was just or our taste. Thanks for the awesome recipe! Who would of thought!

Salisbury Steak

This was delish! I was so scared my hubbykins wouldn't like it once I saw all the onions in the French Onion Soup but he loved it anyhow! They shriveled up, LOL. Anyhow I omitted the ketchup as per other reviews and next time I will add one more can of soup for more gravy!(minus the flour though)

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Brooke! You are the bomb! I made these last night (I even halved it baking it in a 9 X 9 pan) and it was THE BOMB! I didn't have chocolate chips but I used what I had which was Hershey's Kisses, num num num! Thanks for this bomb of a recipe!

Tiramisu Layer Cake

This was Delish! OMG! Delish, Can I say that again? Delish! I didn't have a hand mixer but for the frosting so I did it by hand (took about 10 minutes of not stop whipping) so I put a large bowl over a smaller bowl filled with ice water to keep it as cold as possible (for the frosting) and it turned out perfect. I also accidentally added whole eggs to the cake mix (oops) Even with my mistakes this turned out Delish! (LOL)P.S. I made this EXACTLY as written with no extra anything! EDIT: Making this once again! I know everyone will love it, making it for my hubbys company party. Anyhow, the more I make it - the easier it seems to get (just a thought for newbie bakers like me).

The Best Chicken Fried Steak

I absolutely loved this recipe! it's better than mine, LOL. For some reason my hubby could taste the Tabasco more and more with each bite but I couldn't. This is just a fantastic recipe, thanks for posting it! I will from now on make it just like this (minus the Tobasco for my hubbys sake)

Gerry's Chicken Enchiladas

Not the best enchiladas I've ever eaten, but they were good and my husband and I cleaned our plates and have been eaten the leftovers for lunches. Next time I am going to use flour tortillas and add a little cream cheese to the chicken. Thanks for the recipe!
