About me:
I am a single male who enjoys cooking and entertaining. Some guys don't want to admit they enjoy cooking as it seems to threaten their masculinity, I find that women tend to enjoy a man that knows his way around the kitchen.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed on Jan. 16, 2008 by Allie
I made this cornbread for a get together on Christmas night dinner. Everyone loved it! In fact, it was the first time I had made cornbread from scratch and I also had to double the recipe to make sure there was enough. I have made these a few times after that and the positive reviews from family keep on coming. :) Thanks for posting this recipe.

Frogmore Stew

Reviewed on Jan. 8, 2008 by Darla
This recipe is the best. And so easy! I love it. By the way, fresh corn on the cob only takes 10 min. to boil, frozen takes 7 min., so the order that you put these in the pot is absolutely correct. What I like the best is that you can change up the seasoning blend you use to give it different flavors. This is a 5 star recipe!

Cheesy Baked Onions

Reviewed on Jan. 3, 2008 by Darla
I made this recipe last night and it was awesome! I added a little more cheese also and it turned out great. Anyone that doesn't really understand how to make homemade gravy probably does not understand how to make this the right texture. but it's an ace in my book!
