Simple Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2008
I'm from Texas and live in Fort Worth and we always make this! This is the first time I've added ranch dressing and I always always add chili powder. I sub kidney beans for the chili beans since I didn't have chili beans and I double the tomatoes. Always a winner!! Makes enough for like 6 people.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
I love this recipe and I put mine in the crock pot for about 4-5 hours on high! Adjust the wine because too much can make it taste just like wine. You must use golden mushroom soup, it makes the dish totally different then any other soup. Also double the sauce and pour over pasta!!!!

very, very good -- had trouble keeping the first batch crisp while finishing the second batch, though.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
We have a winner! These are the best and I will continue to make these for my family. I did add 1 tsp. of vanilla, but the rest of the recipe stayed the same. My husband doesnt even like pancakes, but he really liked these. Thanks!

Bar Cookies from Cake Mix

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
It was late and I was craving chocolate. All I had was cake mix, it was good! I wish I could have added chocolate chips. Used 1/3 c. water and baked for 21 minutes.

Zucchini with Farfalle

I used what I had so it's a little different. I used rotini and added tomatoes and yellow squash. It makes a pretty big bowl, I can't wait for my vegetarian sis to try it!

Throw Together Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
Wow! I gave it 5 stars with the changes I made. I did not add the salsa or olives and I used diced tomato verses the sauce. I threw everything else in the skillet with the meat (and diced onion) while the noodles cooked in another pan. When the noodles were done, I topped each plate of noodles with the meat mixture and added cheddar cheese on top for those who wanted it. Popped into microwave to melt it. Sooooo good. Adding like this to the rotation.

White Chocolate Blondies

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
I just made these this afternoon and I've already had 2! They're soooooooo good!!! The only change I made was using a mix of white and semisweet chocolate chips at the end instead of just plain semisweet and they turned out great. I'm really not sure why other reviewers say that using white chocolate chips instead of white baking chocolate doesn't work for this...I used store brand chips and these are delicious! They melted down fine in a makeshift double boiler (glass bowl sitting over a pot of boiling water)and the cleanup wasn't bad at all! I'll definitly make these again and again!
