Apricot Nut Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
I tried this recipe because I had some canned apricots I wasn't sure what to do with. I would absolutely make this again. The whole family loved it. I did make 2 changes; I sustituted margarine for the shortening and I substituted pecans for the walnuts. It was moist and the flavor was great!

Marinated Rosemary Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
This was delicious! Not kidding. I marinated it for over 24 hours and that was the key. It had a wonderful lemon flavor. I ended up broiling it though instead of grilling. Highly recommend!

I followed recipe exactly and it turned out great. Easy to make. Hubby said it tasted like a coffee cake.

This was the best sloppy joe I have ever had. I thought it might be too BBQ-Y, but it wasn't! It was perfect consistency, not too sloppy! Kids and Hubby also enjoyed!

Campbell's® Slow Cooker Savory Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2009
I've used this recipe for a while now, after having been passed it from my mother-in-law. It is fantastic! It is so easy you can actually just dump everything into the slowcooker on your way out the door, and when you get back it's hard to believe how delicious a meal you have for hardly any effort! It's a favorite of my girls and husband, and I get begged to make it at least once a week when it's cold!

It's Chili by George!!

This chili is WONDERFUL! I don't like beans so I just subed 1 lb pork sausage for all the beans. I threw everything into the crock pot and it was perfect. My husband came home and could smell it from outside the house. He couldn't wait to try it. So delicious!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

This recipe was fantastic! It was so easy to make and double. I made this the night before the party and added about 1/2 cup of buttermilk before putting this in the fridge over night. The next day I added the breadcrumbs and the butter (dabs) before putting it in the oven. It got rave reviews!

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
I liked this but the kids were a little creeped out by a meat patty on their plate. They have never had Salisbury steak before and they were expecting a "steak". No, they don't serve it in school cafeteria's in our area anymore so the kids are missing out on a classic.
