Very good. I added lemon juice, and otherwise followed the recipe. I'll use this again.

Creamy Vanilla Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
I can't tell you how many times I've come back to this recipe. I don't change a thing because the recipe is perfect just as it is. It's oh-so-easy and is the best vanilla pudding I've ever tasted. You won't be disappointed.

Ratatouille Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2008
This recipe is AWESOME. I love ratatouille and this really hit the spot. Way to make it into a meal using the spiral pasta. It's healthy and delicious. The only thing I would change is to use fresh basil if it is available. Thanks!

The Best Slow Cooker Cream Corn

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
This was an excellent recipe! It's sooo easy to make and tastes awesome. I made it for 5 (so cut down the recipe by a factor of 1/4). I used less cream cheese and American cheese because I don't like soupy creamed corn. I used 1/2 of a package of cream cheese and 1 slice of American cheese. The scaled down recipe calls for 3/4 of a package of cream cheese, and 1.5 slices of American cheese. Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
I thought the tortilla soup was a little bit mild for my tastes; I had to add quite a bit of tabasco to get it where I felt it was spicy like I am used to. Granted, I live in Texas and have had more Mexican/Tex-Mex food than most, and I am very accustomed to spicy food. Other than that, it is a very easy recipe and quite tasty! Don't skimp on the cilantro!

Kathy's Delicious Whole Slow Cooker Chicken

Like many of the other reviewers, I thought this recipe was good. I personally would cut back on the soy sauce. I doubled the sauce, like many other reviewers, but I would definitely cut back on the soy sauce.

Terry's Texas Pinto Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2008
These were AWESOME!! I gave a four just because so much more water was needed as the beans cooked. And also, the cooking time is atleast double what the recipe says. I will take others advice and soak the beans the night before from now on. I used red salsa because that's what I had on hand (I'm sure green salsa would be just as good though), and also added salt and chili powder. I had to leave out the jalapenos because my husband is a cry baby. The flavor was delicious. Oh yeah, just a note for new cooks like me - rinse the dry beans before you put them in the pot.

Easy Mashed Potato and Roasted Vegetable Enchiladas

This recipe taste ok, but I don't think the taste was worth the effort. It was kind of bland for my taste and could have certainly used some more spice and seasoning. Again, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth the work.

Old-World Cabbage Soup

This recipe was delicious! I added one package of dry onion soup mix, one bell pepper, and a little bit of garlic. Also, I skipped microwaving the vegetables and just threw it all in the pot at once. My friends and I loved it, and I will definitely be making this again.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
I wasn't amazed at the dressing on this...it just tasted sweet - it really had no flavor. The almonds are a must on this salad. I used red onion sliced thinly and thought that it gave it a great flavor. Next time I will skip the dressing, and just add a raspberry vinegarette. I did love the spinach and strawberry together though.
