The Best Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
I enjoyed this...plain bread crumbs are pretty bland though, next time I'll take another reviewer's advice and used crushed ritz crackers. But with the addition of ketchup, it was quite tasty. I made it along with mashed potatos and peas.

Fabulous cake. I grated the apples, but otherwise did everything as directed. Will make it again.

Chicken Chile Spaghetti

Absolutely fabulous, although I did saute the veggies in olive oil instead of butter. I also used whole wheat noodles because I took it to a company pot luck & have some diabetics in the group. Got many compliments on the dish. Thanks for sharing!

Chicken and Wild Rice Casserole

This is good but needs a can of celery soup and I used 3/4 cup of mayo and it adds a tangy taste to it...

Used a Bundt pan and drizzled the icing over the cake. It turned out wonderfully, and it went just oh-so-quickly. I will make this again and again.

Definitely let the pie set up overnight, and do not use less lime juice. Excellent pie!

Amatriciana

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
This recipe was very good, and a very nice change from the usual pasta. I made it exactly as the recipe called for and it turned out perfectly. It definitely has a more subtle flavor, so some people may want to spice it up however they see fit. Next time, I may try adding some sun-dried tomatoes.

Smooth Sweet Tea

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2009
Who knew??? I've been making sweet tea for years & always had a problem with a bitter taste. I've tried every brand of tea I could find, but to no avail. Then, I found this recipe & couldn't be happier. The baking soda is "magical" & I know I will never have a bitter pitcher of tea again. Thanks for submitting this recipe!

I didn't make a beehive out of this, but I made it in a single sheet, 13" I'm pretty sure. It turned out tasting great. We were having my husband's boss over for dinner and he just adored it. Thanks!

This recipe is great. I used 150% more sauce though because I don't like dry fettuccine. Omitted nutmeg because I didn't have it. Great and healthy.

Great recipe. Too much mayo for the recipe. Also, I tried it with Miracle Whip and that didn't turn out like I thought it would. I am going to try it with real may next time. Over all, the chicken was good though.

I love this recipe, it's fast and does great for me. I add just a tad less milk then what it calls for and for personal taste a tsp of vanilla, but they rise wonderfully and the kids love them! Thanks for the recipe!

Boudreaux's Zydeco Stomp Gumbo

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
The flavor of this was excellent! However, it was quite oily. And there was quite a lot of liquid compared to the meat and vegetables. I'll make this again with a few changes: Most likely I'll use less chicken broth and more flour. I'll add more meat and double the vegetables. I added okra this time, but not enough. It needs atleast 2 cups. And the seasoning could be cut down a little. Still very good flavor though. For the beer I used Coors Light.

Bubba's Jambalaya

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
Excellent! I made this with limited ingredients - so I still don't know it's full potential. But with just kielbasa it's so good. My husband said this was his favorite jambalaya so far. The seasonings are scaled at the perfect amount and it's just spicy enough without completing being overpowering. Thanks so much!
