About me:
I found All Recipes a few years ago and just love it. Anytime I need to cook something new, I come here and look up the recipe for it. I'm married and have 4 sons. My sons are almost grown and gone now. They are 24, 21, 16 and 15 y/o. Also, I'm a register nurse for 18 yrs. I'm in a good place in my life right now. I think age has helped me to appreciate the many little blessings life has given me. Life is good.

Potato Skillet

This is a great recipe, however I eliminated the grease and replaced with a couple tbsp of salt-free butter to fry the potatoes to make it a lower fat and cholestorol recipe. I also added just a little chopped onion and tomato if you like veggies. For a spice add some fresh jalepeno

Banana Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed on Dec. 9, 2009 by Karol Wojtyla
I made this recipe using a cake pan since I didn't have a loaf pan. It worked fast and great! I used xylitol (natural sugar alcohol with a GI of 8) in place of the sugar, only 1/3 c honey, and whole wheat pastry flour. I also squeezed in a clementine orange, since we had these on hand. It was absolutely delicious!

Easy Corn Pudding

I found this recipe last holiday season and made it four times! It was a hit each time... I added two eggs and left out the butter. I added a pinch of sugar and a dash of cayenne. Delish!
