Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2006
I thought this was excellent. I doubled the sauce and served it w/ angel hair pasta. Also served a salad. I would definitely double the sauce each time only using 1 packet of Italian dressing mix, but doubling the cream cheese and soup. I also added 2 cans of sliced mushrooms.

Laurie's Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2006
The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the Asiago cheese. My house smelled so wonderful until I put that on top the last 10 minutes. My house smelled like feet! YUCK! Next time I will use Monterrey of Mozerella. I also could not fit all those bell peppers in one 9x12. Other than that I added more garlic than called for and used red, green and orange bell peppers. Great recipe just use different cheese :-)

EXCELLENT! Used the bread machine for the dough, made the rolls, and put in fridge overnight. Also softened butter and mixed w/ cinnamon & brown sugar and spread on rolled out dough.

This was easy to prepare. I used the amount of habaneros called for in the recipe and it was not too spicy. Wonderful citrus flavor with a small kick.

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2006
This was excellent. I halved the amount of peppers, added sliced onions, added 1 can seasoned beef broth, and 1 envelope of dry zesty Italian salad dressing mix. Served it on rolls w/ provolone and mozzarella that we broiled before placing the meat on the roll. Served w/ the au jus for dipping. My family loves it!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: May 30, 2006
It's definately different than the same old chicken. I used thawed frozen spinach, I like the color and flavor better than fresh. Sauted spinach with a little butter and the garlic first. I also added garlic salt and fresh ground pepper to the chicken before adding the spinach mixture. Next time I will marinate the chicken for awhile, it was somewhat bland. Will make again with a few alterations.

It was okay. Not a fan of Pillsbury pizza dough though. Too sweet. If I make this again I will simmer the ingredients for 20-30 minutes before assembling. The flavors did not mix until the next day. I did have plenty of leftover sauce that I will try again with. Thanks anyway.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: May 17, 2006
This was wonderful! I had everything on hand (which is a first). Everything was going quickly until the tragedy happened. I was mixing together all of the spices together and got a major itch in my eye. Without even thinking about it I stuck a finger full of cayenne pepper and everything else in my eye. Thirty minutes later I could see again. Other than that I did everything like instructed except I seasoned the chicken then let it settle in the refrigerator for about an hour. Will make again but washing my hands after mixing spices!!!!

Macaroni Au Gratin

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2006
No more boxed Mac and Cheese! This was great. The only thing I suggest is to ignore the time of 40 minutes from start to finish. It's more like an hour or so. If I knew that it was going to take forever to stir the milk, flour and butter to get it thick I would have started it when I started boiling water for the macaroni! Reminded me of making gravy. Went very well with Aussie Chicken from this site. Thanks!

Grilled Shrimp Tacos With Pineapple Salsa

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2006
These were very easy to make. I will not add the 1/4 C. of reserved pineapple juice next time to the salsa because it was a little runny. I doubled the amount of red onion in salsa and deleted the red bell pepper (my family does not like). I garnished w/ sour cream, cheese, geen onions, and avaocado.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2006
We loved this! My fiance went on and on about how good it was. For the spagetti sauce I used Classico's Sun Dried Tomato and Garlic flavor. It was to die for. Added a little more garlic than suggested (we love it). The only thing I found as a problem was I had to take out some of the ziti because my 9 x 13 was overflowing!!!! This goes in the rotation.

Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2006
This was pretty good. I toasted the bread first and it still came out soggy. The flavor made up for that though. I used premade frozen meatballs because I am always in a hurry! Next time I will toast both sides of the bread first and put the cream cheese mixture on before cutting up the bread. That took way too long.
