Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2008
This was soooo good, my 5yr old daughter couldn't keep her fingers out of the extra sauce we kept to the side for basting. My husband says he's sick of chicken and doesn't want to eat it for a couple of months, and even he had to admit how good this recipe is!!! I can't wait to try it with pork kabobs.

Vanilla Crepes

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2008
When I tried crepes before, I made a huge mess and burnt them all. This recipe was very simple and, I agree, the extra vanilla was heavenly. The only problem I had was when I poured the batter into the pan, it was to thick to move around. So, I added some extra milk (about 1/2 cup). That really allowed it to spread in the pan better. And, though it probably didn't need it, I also added about a teaspoon extra of vanilla. I would definitely recommend this recipe, and trust me, you won't be sorry when your kitchen smells like waffle cones!

Omg........these are even better than those at our local cinnabon and so much cheaper! At least you know when you make them that you are getting hot and fresh rolls.

Puppy Chow

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
I don't know how you can really go wrong with a recipe like this. Puppy Chow is one of my favorite snacks and I think this recipe is great. The only thing was that there was not near enough powdered sugar for the mix, and it got to be a mess when I had to keep opening the bag and pouring more in. But, if you just make sure you have extra powdered sugar, I think it will be just fine. Thank you for the recipe!

Bon Bons

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
These bon bons were good, but like some other people thought, they tasted a little too sweet. They did make a huge batch (like other people said) and we didn't use it all. Also, I had a lot of trouble trying to dip the dough into the chocolate. I was trying to use a toothpick/spoon/knife and finally gave up and stuck my hands into the chocolate. It became really messy. They didn't really look too nice in the end. Plus, after sitting on the counter for a few minutes they started to soften. I had to keep putting them into the fridge. Thank you, anyway.

Heavenly Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
This recipe was awesome! I made this last week for a chocolate party with some friends and everybody loved it. All in all, it really wasn't that hard to make. Unfortunately, I kept cooking the egg before it ever got to 160 degrees. I didn't realize you have to stir the egg almost constantly. But, true to the saying, I got it right on the third try. Despite the mistakes I made, it still turned out really well, so thank you!

This recipe is delicious. The difference is in the browning and seasoning of the roast before being put in slow cooker. Be sure to cook it on low. Everytime I make this, there is never enough. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe.

Chicken Vegetable Barley Soup

even my husband loved it! the only change i made was no mushrooms (i had none), compensated for that by adding a little extra potatoes & carrots. then i had to add extra broth (i used my own homemade, simmer-all-day broth). i served it with grated parmeson.

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2008
I can't believe how well this roast turned out! My husband walked by as I was cutting into the roast to see if it turned out and went on and on about how perfect it looked, perfectly pink in the center. My mother-in-law tried a bite when she stopped by, and couldn't believe such a tough piece of meat could turn out so good. I now want to try and make another kind of roast with this method. WONDERFUL!!!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
This was my second attempt at a cheesecake and my first using this recipe. It turned out great. It was so rich and creamy. I put a pan of water underneath the cheesecake while it was cooking and it only had one slight crack after it was done. I did use another recipe for the crust because I like graham cracker crusts. There was definetely a lot of filling and I was worried about it cooking over the edge, but it just baked up smooth and beautiful. We just topped this with caramel sauce and it was divine. Thanks for a great recipe. This is going into my keep pile.

Suki's Spinach and Feta Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
I have made this twice and both times it was great. I used a mixture of regular penne pasta and whole wheat penne pasta the first time and could not tell a difference in taste. The second time I used all whole wheat and it was still yummy! I also added a can of black olives and will be adding some capers next time. The feta cheese is a MUST. It makes the dish. I also used two can of petite diced tomatoe and a whole bag of fresh baby spinach. I like lots of "sauce" on my pasta! This recipe is soooo healthy! I even used it for a recipe exchange amongst friends.
