It's good. I added crumbled bacon. Used green onion instead of red onion.

Wow! This was very easy to make and my guests loved it. I did saute the onions and added some garlic. We are huge garlic fans. I will make this again. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2009
These were great, my son made them with me for everyone's Christmas present. They were super easy. I didn't have any problem with the cookies cracking and I followed the directions exactly. We did however put the muffin tin in the fridge to cool in between bakings because the chocolate melts and makes the cookies hard to remove.

Pecan Turtle Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
Read previous reviews. First I sprayed the pain with a non stick spray then.. used 2C of flour, 1C of brown sugar and 1/2 C of butter in crust, 1 cup of butter with 1 cup of brown sugar in caramel sauce. Whole bag of pecan pieces and 2 C of semi sweet chocolate chips. When I took them out of the oven, I slowly added the chips to the top and watched them melt into the caramel. I thought "Oh no these will not make a nice chocolate topping to "swirl" but they did. If I did not add 2 C of chips they would not have worked the way they should have, but that extra chocolate did the trick. I put them back in the warm oven immediately and after 8 min, took them out and spread the chocolate around with my spatula. I cut the squares while still soft and left in the pan to cool some more. I had to tell the kids to stop eating them after half the pan was gone in an hour so I had some to take to work which is why I made them in the first place. I think I will make this again and again. Thanks for they recipe Marlyn!

Busy Day Chicken

I cooked my chicken for 8 hours on low, but it turned out really dry, especially the white meat. I was surprised beacause it was very tender and looked like it would be juicy.

Japanese Style Deep Fried Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2009
OMG -- if I could give this 10 stars I would. This is the first recipe where the bf said, "did you write that down?" I have tried numerous recipes off of this site. I read the reviews, I make changes, and then I put them in front of the bf for his review. This recipe could not be ANY more perfect. We definitely used panko bread crumbs (I think this is the key) and the only thing that I did that was "extra" was sprinkle the shrimp with Old Bay as well as the other spices. My hats off to this WONDERFUL recipe. We made it 2 times in 1 week! Not healthy, but wonderful!

Sausage Mushroom Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2009
This was my first time to make a quiche. This recipe is AMAZING!! I followed some others suggestions. I pre-baked my pie crust for 10 minutes, I added a half a cup of cheese to the bottom of the pie shell, I added one additional egg, and I used swiss cheese. I was able to get all of the mixture into a deep dish pie crust...barely. My boyfriend and I ate this for dinner (I put some hot sauce on mine before eating) -- he even went back for seconds. Thanks for the awesome recipe.
