Cornucopia

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
This was super easy and fun! One thing to be careful of, my cornucopia was done in about half the baking time. Almost a little too done! So, check the oven after 20 min and again every 5 min or so and it should be perfect! Also, I used the garlic breadsticks instead of the regular ones. I intend on eating that sucker! =)

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
I loved this icing! We used it on my sons birthday cupcakes and it was just right. It was a bit soft but piped fine. We weren't really looking for any great detail anyway - just cupcake coverage. Unlike most icings this one was light - delicate - delicious!! Not too sweet with a velvety mouth feel that reminded me of whipped cream. I usually scrape most of the frosting off my cakes and cupcakes but I ate every bit of this icing! If you want something that will not overpower your dessert with a sickly sweet frosting this is it!

Chicken a la Good

We didn't really care for this. We couldn't taste the cheese, I think most of it seeped out the ends. It was dry, even cooking it in the broth.

We all liked this but I think I'd use a little less ricotta next time and maybe less pasta for the same amount of sauce.

It's Chili by George!!

We like our chili a little hotter so I used a can of green chilis instead of the bell peppers, added extra cayanne and black pepper. It was really good.

Jalapeno Poppers of Champions

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
I also used the ready cooked bacon. These were wonderful!! I made them for my husband and myself and they were yummy. He even liked them and he doesnt like Jalapenos! Make sure you use a good bacon since most of the flavor does come from the bacon. The only thing i did that was different was cut the bacon in half and lay it on top of the pepper half since i dont like to much bacon. very yummy....will make it again!

Very Tasty! The lemon was nice in it. I added about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of chopped pecans to mine. (didn't measure) I think I'll make this next time I have people over. Again, very very yummy!
