Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
Very good, while I was making this with the help of my 5 year old, she was saying how she didn't want any because she didn't like it, but after it was done, I had her try one bite, and after her normal, I don't want any I'm not hungry routine she asked for a plate of it after she realized how good it was. I didn't make any changes to the ingredients, but I didn't cook my noodles, just soaked in hot water while everything else was cooking, so as to not dirty another dish, I used my 13x9 pan to soak them in.

Moving to Belgium where ingredients are different and I have a fan assisted oven, I've had trouble with other Choc Chip Cookie recipes not being what I was used to in the US. But this recipe is FANTASTIC! I highly recommend it! Easy and oh so yummy!!!

Thanks for the recipe..I appreciate that you took the time to put it on here. I am not the biggest fan of vinegar and most recipes have vinegar in it.I was able to take what you did and add my own stuff to it and it was awesome..thank you so much!

Mini Cheesecakes I

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2007
Fabulous recipe! So simple! I have only made plain cheesecakes one time. I have altered the recipe to make white chocolate raspberry, carmel, peanut butter, turtle, and strawberry. I am getting very creative w/flavors and will someday have a list to rival the Cheesecake Factory! : ) I used fresh fruit for the raspberry and then preserves for the strawberry. I find the ones w/fruit take about twice as long to bake. The peanut butter has probably been the biggest hit out of all the flavors! I just made the plain, peanut butter, turtle, and strawberry for a wedding reception (I made about 200 of them). They were gobbled up within moments! This recipe is definately a keeper! Some tips- I've used both the little mini muffin pans and normal muffin pans. I prefer mini, but I think it really helps if you use muffin liners. I used a water bath the 2nd time I used this recipe, and am not sure if it made a difference, except by making my oven feel 4 times hotter! I'd like to think it made a difference, so I will do it again. Garnishing these little bite sized beauties really sets them off and it's also very fun! You can't go wrong w/this recipe. Please let me know if anyone wants details on the specific flavors I used and how I made them. Happy baking!

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2007
As I was trying to pay too much attention to the suggestions in the reviews, I failed to add the cream of chicken soup, but did add some sour cream to the sauce. The chicken still came out great according to the whole family. My husband liked the chicken even more the next day! I will definitely make this one again.

End of the Line Ham Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2006
The whole family enjoyed this! I added no salt since our leftover smoked ham was so salty already. Then I used cream of chicken soup and added a layer of cheddar cheese above the potatoes. I also microwaved the potatoes ahead of time which reduced the baking time by half. Thanks so much!

Very good, very big family recipe! I doubled the milk and added extra monterrey jack cheese. I still could have added more milk for extra creaminess though. Definitely use two cans of tuna.

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken

Excellent recipe. I finally found a chicken recipe that my husband likes, and I have tried out quite a few in the past 3 years. I have had problems with chicken coming out dry and tough, but with this recipe the chicken was very moist and tender. Definately a keeper.

Italian Love Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2006
I have made this 2 times so far and both times it has turned out great. When I went shopping for the ingredients the first time I didn't read my list very well and I only bought 1 15oz container of ricotta cheese and didn't have time to go back to the store so I used what I had, I made it the same way the second time and I received nothing but excellent reviews from everyone who tried it, although when some people heard that there was ricotta cheese in it they were a little leary to try it, but when they did, they really liked it.

This was wonderful. I don't use miracle whip, and didn't want to buy any for one recipe so I substituted sour cream for it, absolutely great. I'm always worried about trying new recipes, but this turned out great.

Everyone loved this pie, and I've made it three times since initially making it! The first time I used fake chicken strips, but they came out soggy -- left them out afterwards, and it was so much better! Shows me not to mess with a great recipe.
