Spiced Wassail

I've been making wassail this way for years. It's naturally sweet and I love it! I use a little bit of orange juice instead of orange slices.

Creamy Hot Cocoa

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
Good, but I agree with other reviewers that it was a little too sweet. I didn't think I would ever say that about hot cocoa, because usually the sweeter the better with me. I do like that she made sure to list out the steps of mixing the chocolate and suger with the boiling water b/c that really helps get the powdery taste out.

This was very easy to roll out! It's also very tender and flaky with a nice taste. I used it with my pecan pie for Thanksgiving and got rave reviews from everyone.

Very good & easy. Make sure to stir it often so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan or bubble over.

Spicy Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2006
My husband made this last night. I told him the recipe over the phone and he did not understand to not use all the seasoning mix. So he cut the chicken into pieces and used all the seasoning! He cooked it on the stove top with a tiny amount of olive oil. Once the chicken was done it was too hot to eat, because he did not follow the recipe. He toned it down with a little lemom juice and served over salad with a side of garlic bread. It was a great dinner!

This was really good. I didn't know what to expect, but it's quite a bit like bread pudding made with apples. My family loved it and ate it all immediately!

Creamy Banana Bread

This is excellent. It is very smooth and is super moist even on the first day. It is more expensive to make than regular banana bread, but the texture is worth it if you need a dessert that day.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2005
Our local baker makes these and won't give out the recipe. I made this recipe and let several people try them and they couldn't tell the difference. Very rich and wonderful. I used choc chips with 1/2 bar of home parafin wax for the outer chocolate instead of the confectioners choc. I think it's easier to work with. I've been asked for the recipe by everyone who has tried them so far!

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

This really didn't taste as pumpkinish as I'd like. It had a VERY strong nutmeg flavor. The texture was good though and people who like a spicier bread might like it better.
