Oatmeal Chocolate Coconut Chewy

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
Now, to be honest, I make awful cookies, no matter what recipe. These were wonderful, it is an easy recipe and we made two batches, one with peanut butter chips and chocolate chips and one with white chocolate chips and toffee chips. These were wonderful and we will use them again. Thanks for the great recipe

Eileen's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2007
Absolutely LOVE this meatloaf... not a big fan of oregano, so this was awesome not having that spice to overpower the recipe! I am actually eating it right now for the second day in a row, and I made it for my boyfriend yesterday and he made a a sandwich out of it first, and said it is the all time best meatloaf! Keeper? I would say so... I used regular seasoned bread crumbs instead and only one cup as suggested. Also, I added a tablespoon of salsa to the meat mix, and pushed fresh jalepeno pieces into the top of loaf (after washing and deseeding) and then last 15 minutes of baking, added a mix of 2 tbs brown sugar, lil over half cup ketchup and 2 tbs mustard stirred together to the top of loaf as well... I am so satisfied... thank you Eileen...

Challah I

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2007
I knocked off one star, only because I do think it will need some of the adjustments that others suggested...such as more honey and egg and only 30 minutes of cook time, instead of 40. Still, for my first from scratch bread making experience, it was WONDERFUL! Will use this recipe, altered, from now on! Thanks for the recipe!!!

Smooth Sweet Tea

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2007
delicious, and as the name says...smooth! I put my sugar, a whole cup, in the pitcher with the baking soda, then added my boiling water and tea bags and let it brew that way for 15 min., covered, as it called for. Then I removed the tea bags and added the cold water. I used my favorite tea, Constant Comment, and it's SOOOO GOOD!!! Thanks! the Baking soda bit is genius!! I squeeze mt tea bags to get all the concentrated tea out, so it's strong....and this totally kept it from being bitter!!

Yummy Cube Steaks

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2007
This is a great recipe however i could in bulk for a company and i found that trying to let the tomatoes cook in the pan wasnt going to work so i panfried the steaks and then added the tomato combination over the top of the steaks and baked at 350 for 20 mins and this worked out very well and everyone enjoyed this.

Slow Cooker Spaghetti Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2007
This is an excellent recipe for large groups also. I think the original recipe that says 6 servings should be for 10. I used the mild diced tomatoes and was just spicy enough. I fed 60 with this and it holds well for a extended serving time. It would be great for church dinners.

Jamaican Rice

This was a great dish to go along with Jamaican Jerked Chicken. I used 1/2 coconut milk and 1/2 water to cook the rice. Just perfect taste to go along with the spicyness of the main dish.

Yum. This was easy and very tasty. My family raved about the flavor and wanted to know what I did different. They usually don't like me to try different recipes when the old one is fine but this just became my new meatloaf recipe.
