This is very tasty and very easy to add to. We like black beans and black olives in ours just to give it something extra.

These were phenomenal and didn't last long in our house. They're super easy to make and just as good heated up the next day in the microwave. I send some to work with my husband and he just raved about them!

All I can say is Oh My Gosh! Everyone at the reunion ate it over the smoked meats that my brother in law prepared right there in camp. I'm thinking of adding a little orange juice next time. Thanks for a GREAT recipe!

Herbed Mushrooms with White Wine

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
Very happy with this recipe. I expanded it a bit and made it into chicken and musrooms by adding chicken strips and white wine and a little chicken bouillon powder. All I needed then was a salad and rolls. Great meal. Thanks!!!

My Country Style Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
This was excellent! I have never been good with cube steak, but his turned out great! I cut mine in finger sized pieces and it was tender and the gravy was just right. I did deglaze my pan with a little wine and added a bit of beef broth as it cooked to make more gravy, but that's all. Next time I'll remember to add mushrooms. This is definitely a keeper for us. Thanks for a great recipe!!!

Sorry. We were not very impressed. I used venison breakfast sausage instead of just gourn venison and we still didn't think it had much flavor. My better half said he would not ask to have it again.

A good meatloaf, but I guess we prefer ketchup to the mustard topping. Next time I will add ketchup to the top the last 10 minutes and see if it meets my husbands approval. Thanks for a good recipe.

I thought I had the best potato soup recipe until I tried this one. Outstanding! We serve ours over Jiffy cornbread which gives it a slightly sweet flavor. Thanks for a great recipe!

BUSH'S® Best Spicy Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
This is a fantastic soup!! It makes a bunch and the leftovers get better and better! My boyfriend frowned at the idea of no meat so I made a quick rub for two chicken breasts and placed them on the George Foreman Grill while I was chopping up the veggies for the soup. I shredded the chicken as I read in some of the reviews and it was great. YUMMY!

Wonderful flavor! I like it the way it is, but I will try it with a little extra sugar. It definitely helps me enjoy my raw vegetables. Try it on fish also. I used it on top of some salmon and it was GREAT! Thanks for a keeper!

Breakfast Casserole III

This was quick and easy which is just what I needed so that I could pitch in for a work "Spirit" breakfast. I used a dozen Medium eggs but next time I'll use large. I also used frozen O'Brien hashbrown potatoes as some of the other comments suggested and it turned out great! There wasn't any left after the masses got to it!

Green Chile Cheese Beer Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2009
I have now made this several times. I prefer NOT to blend the chilies and cheese and I like the looks of the cheese strips in the bread. Have tried several different beers and frankly can't tell the difference. Make darn sure you use Self Rising, was out once and tried regular flour for a super flop. I also add lots of toasted pecans. Yum.

Speedy Salmon Patties

Great recipe I did change it up though. I added about 5 extra cracker's, teaspoon of lemon juice, and a tablespoon of Heinz 57. Turned out great the Heinz gave it just the right amount of flavor without overpowering it. I think next time I will put some flour on the outside for a crispier crust.
