About me:
I am a mom to 4 and wife to Chris. I am 32 years old and had to learn the fast way at the age of 17 and pregnant with my first to learn the art of "Cajun" "southern" cooking which I thought was way hard then.....I had my mother in law teach me plus several other members from my husbands family teach me and I can say now I am comfortable cooking for them and my husband says that my roast and gravy is better than his moms now, but shhhh you didn't hear it from me!!

Yep this was AWESOME!!! So easy to make. This recipe is a true winner!!! Oh and for a twist sometimes try some panko bread crumbs. My kids love it that way. We have it once a week in our family and no one is tired of it yet!!! Hats off to you Vero!!! Well done

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed on Nov. 27, 2009 by Cajun Girl
I actually made this dish twice…pre Turkey Day test. Family said it needed something. So second time around I used 2 bags of frozen French style green beans, additional seasoning - garlic salt and mixed 1 can of Durkee Fried onions with the cheddar cheese. Made the day before so it was ready to pop in the oven. Served 10 and was delish. Will definitely make this again.

Pumpkin Cake II

Improve your glaze for a pumpkin cake by adding 20 drops of yellow food coloring and 5 drops of red food coloring. It makes the prettiest pumpkin orange color!!
