Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
This was very yummy!!! I put some minced garlic in and I also waited til the last couple hours to add bell peppers. I didn't add any salt, and it really didn't need any in the end anyway. I will be making this again soon. Thanks for the recipe!!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
This was very good....I half cooked the bacon. In the grease, I sauteed the spinach, tomato, and garlic. I patted some of the grease out as suggested by another reviewer. I used about a half cup each of mozz. and parmesan cheese. I also seasoned the chicken breast with seasoned salt and seasoned the spinach mixture with garlic powder, onion powder, Tony's, salt, and pepper. We had some left over spinach stuff so I put it in a very small baking dish, baked it, and made a yummy dip out of it! :) That was delicious too!!

My husband loved this dish. As there are only two of us, there was enough left for another meal, and he didn't mind leftovers.

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

This was a little bit of a mess to make but not too bad. I didn't use as many ice cream bars as the recipe called for. This was a veryyyy yummy dessert though and everyone absolutely loved it!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
This came out very yummy! I seasoned the meat, sprinkled flour on it, and browned it before placing in the crock pot. I also took another reviewer's suggestion and added beed broth instead of water. I also used the healthy request cream of mushroom soup and put some baby carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions in it. This recipe is definitely a keeper! Thanks for sharing!!! :)

I would give this only 2 stars, but my husband liked it so it gets 3. I just did not care for it too much. Probably won't make it again...

If they had a 10 star rating, this recipe would definitely get all ten stars!!! This was the BEST bananas foster I have ever tasted in my life!! I used pecans in place of walnuts, and I used the rum extract with the water. It was DELICIOUS!! I will be making this all the time. Thanks sooo much for this recipe!

Restaurant-Quality Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2007
This was yummy! I used chicken broth, not stock. Also, I used italian seasoning in place of thyme and basil. I used about half the cornstarch, and 2 1/2 potatoes. My whole family said this is better than my other potato soup recipe, so there ya go! :) Thanks for sharing!!

Gram's Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2007
This was not too good. It was WAY too liquidy with 2 cups of water, which is partly my fault because I didn't notice the "as needed" until after I added it all. Anyway, the taste was ok, but it just wasn't what I wanted.

These were so fun to make and my daughter's pre-k class LOVED them! I was able to find the black twizzlers at CVS, but they were way too heavy. So instead I used pretzel sticks for the legs!! They were sooo cute! Thanks for such a cute idea!

Champagne Shrimp and Pasta

Not an easy meal to make and it is a little more time consuming than you expect but the payoff was amazing... Absolutely floored my parents... I finally let my StepMother know where I get these amazing recipes. I didn't go for five stars just because it sounded easier than what it is and you have to have adequate time to prepare it correctly with fresh ingredients.. if you are using frozen items or prepackaged may be a little less time consuming.

Cheddar Beef Enchiladas

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2007
This was pretty good. I added garlic and chopped onion as most others did to the meat. I think the sauce to go over the top was awesome. I can't believe it was only chicken soup and salsa! Yum! Next time, I may try to put some of the sauce in the enchiladas in addition to on top? It was just missing something. Husband thought it was great though! I will be making this again...for sure!
