Best Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
I made these according to the recipe, without the frosting, and my family loved them! They weren't too cake-like, like some of the other reviews say. At least to us they weren't. I took the advice of other reviews and hand mixed the batter, and beat the eggs before adding them. Good brownie recipe and we're making them again tonight with chocolate chunks and walnuts!

Cream Puffs

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
Well for me they looked awesome, I did what some said about leaving the door vented for them to dry out and not turn to mush. But.... the four eggs really made these taste like scrambled eggs.... My dogs ended up getting them. I didn't read some of the reviews until I was making them. So that sucks but yeah just to many eggs!!

Wow super yummy, even though I didnt seal them good enough and the marshmallow escaped. I added in a few a couple chocolate chips those were super yummy too. So easy to make its almost dangerous lol!

Just got done eating a slice. And it was wonderful. A really great recipe. I recommend trying it. I made it just as it was, it is sweet so you can stand to lose some sugar. But still just awesome!!

Cereal Treats II

Perfect if you're looking for a traditional rice crispy treat! Works awesome with just about any kind of cereal and really great for cereals that you need to use up. However, in our house, it's a rare occasion if we can wait 2 hours to let them cool before eating them!!

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

This dish came out excellent! The only change I made was that I "pre-boiled" my rice to cook it down a little bit, then added it to the chicken/gravy mixture in the crock pot....thanks for sharing!

OMG these were AWESOME!!! I was craving grilled cheese sandwiches and was wondering if there was a quicker, easier way to make them....and here it is! My 4 year old even noticed the difference! She said "Mommy, how did you cook these?" LOL! These are the crispiest, tastiest GC sandwiches I've ever had, I'll never go back to pan frying them. Thanks so much!

Zucchini Brownies

Freaking Great Brownies!!! lol Dont be scared when the batter seems way to dry. It cooks up lovely. I used some left over chocolate butter cream frosting because, I had it. And just a great all over brownie. Try them even though you might think it seems weird with the zucchini its great!!

Was a great recipe, I did find I had to cook it longer. And I like brown sugar better than white for the top. But was great! Everyone enjoyed it and it was a great use of frozen blueberry's I have in the freezer.

Baked Whole Cauliflower

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
This turned out great! The whole family loved it. I did do what some others did and brushed on the butter. Also while steaming it I used chicken boulion cubes in the water to give it extra flavor like others said they did. But I didn't chop it up. I left it whole. It is really neat looking and tastes just as good!!

I made these the other day, they were good but not great. Seemed like there wasnt much flavor. And I didn't get them crusty. But that's my fault. But No one really was raving about them.

Pecan Tarts

I just used the shell.... I filled it with blueberry filling because thats what I had. It was good and everyone liked them, I just felt they had to much almond flavor. It over powered my oven while cooking. Still really good recipe just think I will use VANILLA instead of almond. Really just depends on what you like!

Tomato Bread III

I just made this, its a really good bread. I was looking for something to use up some tomatoes, so I cooked mine down with some jalapeno peppers. It did seem like it needed more flavor. But all in all a good idea. Next time I will just add some hot sauce and extra garlic!!
