I tried making this multiple different ways as suggested by other members before posting and basically didn't think any of them were necessary. the recipe as written makes wonderful bread. This has become my "basic use all the time for fresh bread" recipe and I use it at least once a week. Thnx!

Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
I made this recipe today because I had leftover hamburger buns and bananas that needed to be used. I loved it. I did alter it slightly, instead of chocolate chips I used chopped pecans and I also omitted half the sugar and it was more than enough. I will be making this again. Thanks

this was soo easy and so good!! I used one sleeve of crackers and it was perfect!! i topped some with chocolate, some with just nuts and some with nothing.... I like all of them, but the plain ones are my favorite!! I used light brown sugar and had no problem and the taste was just like toffee!!

Salsa II

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2009
This has become my "what am I going to do with all these tomatoes" recipe. Especially because it disappears so fast. I use what I have harvested, but the spices remain the same. i.e. for peppers I use my roasted and frozen anaheim and jalapenos. Yellow onions only because thats what I grow etc etc. Limes because the lime tree if full of them. The Key is the balance of seasonings. Its perfect. A WONDERFUL harvest time recipe!!

I think this is a great alternative to traditional salsa. I can serve it at a party with chips or use it as a salad topping. Very cool and refreshing.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
Great homemade recipe. Used more garlic and onion than called for. If you don't want possible tomato chunks, you may wanna use diced or crushed tomatos. Used more tomato paste cause I don't like my sauces thin or runny. Meatballs were excellent. Used Italian bread crumbs. Also seasoned to taste while sauce was cooking.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
These were very good, and fairly easy! I baked mine almost 20 minutes, but it depends for everyone depending on the size of the rolls. I used cream cheese II from this site, and it was very good with it! I also used butter, not margarine.

Chicken Enchiladas V

This is pretty much a knock off version of Chicken Enchiladas II. It's good but there's really no difference. Gave it a good rating because of taste but the serious lack of originality is disappointing.

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
This was tasty and my husband really liked it. I added red chili pepper since he likes spicy food. One word of advice: dry the chicken a little bit before putting it in the bag, or you'll end up with a slimy dough that covers only part of the chicken...like I did. I used boneless breast tenderloins and they were overcooked, so I will shorten the cooking time a bit next time. I'm sure it's not too long for bone-in chicken though.

Quick and Easy Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
I love brownies probably more than any food, and it's hard for me to give any brownie recipe less than 5 stars. But I must be honest and say that these were not as rich and chewey as I expected after reading the other reviews. They tasted more sugary than chocolatey to me. Mine were not very dark brown either. I would double the cocoa next time. Ok, I had to come back and revise my rating. These brownies were far better the next morning after they cooled. I did use only 1 cup of flour like others recommended since I don't like my brownies cakey. They were cakey and bland right out of the oven, but great once they cooled off!!!

Mushroom-Stuffed Chicken Breasts in a Balsamic Pan Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
My hubby and I have lost a bunch of weight, and we're always looking for new, tasty recipes that are within our caloric limits. This recipe totally exceeded my expectations! It was savory, flavorful and very, very good. I did six smallish chicken breasts. I never cook skin-on breasts, so I cut pockets and stuffed the mixture inside the breasts. I didn't use the food processor; I cut the mushrooms by hand. I had some left over, so I added it to the sauce I made from the pan drippings. This was AMAZINGLY good, and I didn't tweak the recipe itself really at all. I like to try it the way it is written first before I tweak it!

Deviled Eggs I

Very simple but very good recipe. Used regular mustard instead of mustard powder. Always easier to put filling in ziploc/sandwich bag, snipping corner and using that to fill eggs.

Very Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2009
I usually make recipes as directed, but today I was specifically looking to find a chocolate cookie recipe to use some coconut I have had for a while. I didn't find what I was looking for but thought this one might work well to sub coconut for the chocolate chips, and boy was it a success!! If you love coconut, try substituting the 2 c chocolate chips for 3 c shredded coconut. Yummmmmmmmmmmmy. I'll try them as directed too when I can get some chocolate chips. Great recipe!!

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

Ionly made the alfredo sauce for a pizza dough i already had... I thought the sauce was too thick and I needed to add more liquid... I just added more milk until it was a spreadable consistency! I was out of Romano so used parm... It worked well!
