Whoa...great recipe! I used the baked version from one of the other reviewers...I couldn't believe how easy this recipe is! I used the white sauce that Aaron McCargo used on the Next Food Network Star...it makes the dish a five! This recipe is NOW my husband's favorite. He wants it every week!

I used frozen breasts. I liked it, but my husband was not a fan. He asked me to not make it again. Too bad for me.

Chili Seasoning Mix II

Delicious! I'll never buy that packaged stuff again. I only used 2T flour and increased the chili powder to 1T. Oh, and I didn't have minced dried garlic, so I used a teaspoon of garlic powder. No idea if that's equivilant, but it tasted good! Thanks for the great recipe!

Chicken Pepper Steak

O M G! This recipe was AWESOME!!! I loved it so much I ate it for lunch and dinner the next day too! I made a few modifications because of the other reviews complaining of the saltiness. To cut the saltiness I added some rice vinegar and some chili paste, and a little bit of splenda. I also (believe it or not) added some kerrygold sweet mustard sauce. It was so good! I also used red onions and used red and yellow bell peppers. This was amazing!! Thanks for the great post!

Zippy Shepherd's Pie

Very yummy dinner! I used green pepper instead of red, ground turkey, omitted the tomatoes, and doubled the potato mixture. I only used 1 cup of beef broth, also. I didn't want it too soupy. I made it in a 13 x 9 pan and the potatoes just barely covered the meat, so next time I might more than double them. We enjoyed the flavor a lot!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2008
Could it get any better? I don't think so. I used my chopper to make quick work of the strawberries and Fuji apple and diced 3 kiwi by hand. Left out the raspberries, but used raspberry preserves and a T. of sugar. Oh, and I added a squirt of lemon juice for the sake of the apple. Even good the next day, albeit a bit juicy. The chips, well, I can't imagine using 2 cups of cinnamon sugar. I just made 1 cup (with a t. cinnamon) for 10 tortillas (which I sprayed with regular nonstick spray on both sides and then dredged both sides in the sugar) and that was plenty, even making the chips a bit too sweet. Super easy and tasty, a great snack on their own. Altogether, a definite keeper. Thanks!

Barbecued Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
I thought this was pretty good. My hubby and I both agreed on a 4 star rating. I did make some small modifications. I used 1/2 C. aplle cider vinegar and the rest as white vinegar. I also added in a few ybsp. of bottled bbq at the advice of the other readers. I added some gar;ic and onion powder and a tbsp. of splenda to sweeten it up. I baked the chops in the oven for 30 minutes and pulled them out and thickened the sauce with some flour because the sauce was pretty runny. I used really thin chops, so they were a little more dry than I would have liked. All in all, I will make this again. Thanks for sharing :D

Best Spanish Rice

I used brown rice, so of course the cooking time was increased. It turned out flavorful and good. I'm not the best rice cooker, so it wasn't the best texture in the world, but my family enjoyed it.

Cream Cheese Squares

I think these are really good. Next time I'll use less butter, though. And my husband thought they'd be better with fruit or chocolate, so I might add a layer of preserves or mini chocolate chips. Definitely let them chill before cutting and eating.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
I had never thought of cooking a turkey breast in the slow cooker, and it worked GREAT! I used a 3 lb. boneless breast on top of some carrots, celery and onions...and since I didn't have soup mix, I sprinkled it with garlic salt, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. I did add about a cup of chicken broth, since boneless breasts don't have as much juice. Cooked it for about 6 hours. It was juicy, delicious, and won rave reviews.

Ham and Cheese Bowties

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
This is a good recipe. Not earth-shatteringly wonderful, but good. I used 13 oz whole wheat rotini, had it on hand. I also used 2 cups leftover ham and increased the sauce a little. It needed a little more salt, in my opinion. I'll probably leave out the mustard next time. All in all, nice dinner. Thanks!
