About me:
I'm a young lady who has been helping cook since she was tall enough to be nose level with the stove top. My dad is the Griller/deepfryer of the family and mom is the superb baker. I've received a good mix of the two and love to cook for any occasion. Cooking is stress relief, esspecially if your endever yields chocolate chip cookies.

Easy Sausage Cheese Balls

Reviewed on Jun. 17, 2008 by Lu C
Very good version of a great snack. Like other said I backed off the Biscuit mix to 3.5 cups. Then I used 1/2 hot and 1/2 mild sausage. I used Tennessee Pride. The cheese was sharp, 4cups. The trick is to MIX BY HAND until everything is mixed. I added a drop or two of water on my hands to keep it from sticking. Also I baked them a little longer as I make rather large balls and I wanted them done. Not greasy at all. I wonder if a food processor would have done the mixing better or at least quicker??

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed on Jun. 8, 2008 by Lu C
This is a great recipe for banana bread.Very easy!! I adjusted in two ways. First I halved the sugar into half white cane sugar and the other half into brown sugar. Then I added nutmeg along with the cinnamon. I wished I would of had nuts or raisins to add. Adding the sugar cinnamon to the bottom is a great idea so I added some more to the top before baking. I used 3 loaf pans and they baked in 1 hour 10 minutes. Taste great!!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed on May 7, 2008 by J Pearce
This was really good. I did change a couple of things. I sauted onion, celery, and garlic in olive oil. Then added 1/4 c. butter and added flour and seasoning packet. I also used skim milk instead of heavy cream and it was very creamy and good. My daughter, who is very picky, had seconds. I will make this recipe again. Thanks for sharing.
