Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2008
This was ok but I think there was too much concentrated soup. It would have tasted better if it was thinned out alot more. Probably won't make this again.

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2008
This lasagna is awesome! Especially for a vegetarian dish. I added pine nuts and flax seeds to the sauce and substituted Italian seasoning for the rosemary. I also used half Italian-blend cheeses and half mozzarella. My husband said I can make it ANY TIME. =) Thanks for the great recipe!

I made this as Christmas gifts last year and everyone loved it. First attempt at jelly. Thanks!

Vickie's Beer Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
Simply amazing. I used London Pride beer. I might try it with cheese and herbs next time, but it's perfect the way it is. Thanks!!!

Kofta Kebabs

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
These were very tasty. I also made mine with beef (lamb's too gamey for me) and baked the skewers on racks. I think they'd taste better grilled, I just didn't feel like messing with a grill today. I served the kebabs in pita bread with spinach, tzatziki sauce, and feta. Soo tasty.

Crab Alfredo

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
This was good. I used imitation crab (crab's not the best import in Arkansas), penne, and peas.

Sausage Hash With Apples & Sage

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
This is tasty =). I honestly wasn't so sure about the sauce, but it really brought it together. It's not terribly pretty, but then, how many pretty hash recipes have you seen? I used beer brats and cooked the potatoes much longer than the recipe said...didn't want tough potatoes. Anyway, thanks for the keeper!

Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
This is just like my gramma makes it! I'd much rather have this that the gooey fudge made with marshmallow creme. Yeah, it's good, but this stuff is solid and still melts in your mouth. Thanks!

Hummus Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
This was good and VERY different...But it also makes ALOT of food. I think next time I'll just make half of the recipe. My husband and I liked it but didn't eat any of the leftovers...Probably because I couldn't figure out how to reheat it. Hubby also thought the beef needed more seasoning. Sure is tasty though.

Shepherd's Pie II

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
I've made this a couple times now. It's a good base recipe. I add lots of sage. And last time, it was really good when I added a layer of cheese on top of the beef when assembling the casserole. It's too dry otherwise. It would probably be good with some brown gravy instead of cheese.
