Easy Peanut Butter Cookies by EAGLE BRAND®

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
AMAZING cookies! This recipe has been in our family for years. It is always a crowd pleaser. My in-laws asked me to make them another batch tonight. I wouldn't believe the review that says that these are bad cookies and there is no taste of sweetener. Obviously there is. The recipe calls for Eagle Brand milk (VERY sweet) and also sugar, can't get any sweeter than that! I found the cook time to be pretty much right on, I made mine a bit bigger so they stayed in a little longer. An easy way to tell they are done when making them bigger is that they begin to crack. Let them crack a good bit, but keep an eye on them, they are easy to burn (I speak from experience)lol These guys are GREAT and a Hershey kiss is the perfect topper! Happy Holidays!!

Excellent. The sauce made the dish. I put it with the roasted vegetables recipe. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Roasted-Vegetables-501/Detail.aspx I thought I was in a fancy restaurant. Spectacular together!!!! Definitely making it again. Rick

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2007
VERY yummy! I was in a hurry so I omitted the 1st step and part of the second. I just added EVERYTHING to the crock pot and stirred it all together. I then cooked it on HIGH for 4 hrs then on LOW for about 45 mins, and it was PERFECT! As far as the chicken broth, I found that about 2 1/4 cups was adequate.

Turkey Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2007
This is the perfect comfort food! I added some chopped carrots, onions, celery, garlic and herbs for more flavor, but I think it would have been good as written. I've seen several recipes with biscuit dumplings and I was really skeptical about them, but they were really good! Thanks for this easy and yummy recipe!

Cranberry Chutney I

I made this with just 2 Tbsp of vinegar and it was still wayyyy too strong. I think I will try it again without the vinegar and maybe a little more sugar. My mother-in-law really liked it though.

Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2007
Simple, but you definitely have to keep your eye it so that it doesn't burn. I wouldn't recommend cooking it on high. It started burning around the edges after less than an hour on high. I just thought the corn was ok, but my husband really liked it. Although, he likes just about anything with corn in it.

AMAZING!! WE ate this 2 nights in a row!! I added a lot more red wine to the final mix. I thought it tasted to "flour-E" without it. Other than that it was very very good!

Chicken Fajita Pizza

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2007
This is one of my favorite taste of home recipes. I put a little cornmeal on my pizza pan before pressing the crust into it. It makes the crust crispier on the bottom. I eyeball the quantities and adjust it to our tastes and cut all of the chicken and veggie pieces into bite size chunks. If you cut up your chicken and veggies the night before, this is a quick and easy recipe to throw together after work.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2007
This was such an easy recipe to throw together. Next time I'll use a different Italian dressing because it didn't seem that "zesty" to me. It did make good shredded barbeque chicken sandwiches though. I would definitely make it again.

Chocolate Hazelnut Mocha Cappuccino Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2007
I would give this a 3, but my husband loved it so I gave it a 4. I really wanted to have more cappuccino flavor, but he loved because it didn't taste like cappuccino. I mixed some coffee flavoring into some chocolate syrup and drizzled it on top. I will probably make it again though because we love chocolate.
