Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
This was such a quick and easy recipe. Had chops and was bored with the same old thing. I did brown mine first and used olive oil because I didn't have any veggie oil. I thought they were terrific. You can really season your chops anyway you prefer. You could even add ginger if you like the extra bang.

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
This is our favorite way to make chicken - my only suggestion is to use garlic powder or granulated garlic, because the real thing tends to burn on the grill. I also double the recipe - and we let it marinate overnight if possible so that all the goodness soaks in. This is also really good on pork.

Asparagus Parmesan

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
So Easy and So Fantastic.. I add about 1/2 a teaspoon of Balsamic Vinegar just before it comes out of the pan. Let it simmer out for about 3 minutes and then drain on a papertowel and put on the fresh parm. It has to be fresh grated parm to give it a great taste. For a change, add blue cheese crumbles instead of the parm, or in addition to the parm. Let the crumbles melt onto the top or put under broiler for a minute or two to brown the blue cheese. This is amazing!!! Thanks for the quick and easy recipe. I make it weekly.

5 stars and Thumbs Up!! Great Recipe as is. I added fresh garlic to the sauce for my families taste, but I add garlic to everything. Can't wait to make for the inlaws. Easy and great tasting!

Basil Cream Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
Fantastic!! My husband loved it also. I liked the recipe the way it is, but next time to thicken up the sauce I will add a little more butter after removing the chicken and flour before I add my chicken broth. I also added fresh garlic with the pimentos to add flavor for my taste. Love everything with garlic! Tossed some more parmesan on the chicken before serving and made roasted asparagus as a side dish. I will definitely try again. Thanks for the great and easy recipe. Can't wait to make it for my in-laws.

The best corn bread I've ever tasted. I add a little extra brown or white sugar for a very tasty bread. There is never any left over.

Sea Salted Coffee Toffee Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2008
I was so excited to try this recipe, but I'm afraid it was a complete disaster. The cookie crust was too thick--I baked it nearly twice as long as the recipe directed and it was still not done in the center. And then the toffee topping was just a bunch of drippy goo. It didn't taste too bad, but the consistency of both layers made it inedible. I followed the instructions exactly, but I must have done something wrong.

Coconut Ambrosia Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
I liked this recipe and rated it a 4 because I always add a 16 ounce tub of sourcream to my ambrosia. You can't go wrong with the fruit and whipped topping, but add some sourcream and you get the bold flavor of all of the fruit.

I added my own twist to this recipe, but it taste great on it's own. I'm a garlic lover so I added garlic and thinned the recipe down a little bit with chicken stock. My family ate the whole pot. It goes really well with a garlic toasted baguette to dip or put in as croutons in your soup.
