Grilled Rib Eye Steaks

Reviewed: May 30, 2008
This is really good! I made 1/2 the recipe and marinated two ribeyes in a ziplock bag for about 3 hours, and they were delicious. I used low sodium soy sauce and garlic salt instead of garlic cloves (forgot to buy garlic). My boyfriend and I loved the flavor. I always use A1 on my steaks, but the flavor was sooo good I didn't even use it this time! I will definitely be making this again!!

These were really good and got lots of compliments. They were fairly easy to make as well. Just not 5-star, but definitely a solid 4-star.

Potato Leek Soup III

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
This has become a favorite at my house. I really didn't think I would be able to get my family to eat leeks, but the mellow flavor of this soup is perfect! I used less butter and substituted fat-free half/half because we're really health-conscious, and it still tasted sinfully rich!

Perfect!!! Even on my first try, the bread came out perfectly. My family went crazy over it, and it was gone before it was totally cool! I've stocked up on supplies so I can make it all the time and keep it on hand. It's so good -- pretty, too!

I like this recipe for the chicken marinade, I have my own fresh salsa and ranch dressing recipe that I use. Served with Mexican rice, it's a great meal!

Buffalo Chicken Wings I

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2008
I fixed these for my son to take to a football bowl party and my son's opinion was "they were awesome!" I liked them, but for hubby and I, they were still too hot and I barely put any of the hot pepper sauce in. For the record, that's just us, we don't like any food that is hot and spicy.

Simple BBQ Ribs

If there was a 10 star rating, I would gladly give it! My ribs never turn out and these fell right off the bone-only a fork required. My husband said he would pay for ribs like this. I've shared this recipe with everyone. It will be included in my personal cookbook. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! YUM! YUM!

These cookies look good and I had no problem getting them out of the pan. I will use a regular peanut butter cookie recipe next time I make them because we enjoy more of a peanut butter flavor and it just wasn't there.

Peanut Butter Cake II

D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S-! A great tasting, moist cake with a wonderful peanut butter frosting! I did use more peanut butter in the cake mix (as well as a dash of vanilla) and extra in the frosting too. I put a thick layer of chocolate frosting between the two layers, poured chocolate ganache over the top decorated with some mini Reese Pieces. Most importantly, not too heavy :-) THIS IS A KEEPER!

I think there's something missing. I made this, assuming that the recipe would call for adding the wet ingredients later. It was really oily and heavy. Bleh.

Paul's Pumpkin Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
Thankfully, I read the reviews prior to making this, so I changed the recipe to make more moist, dense bars. I used (2) 15 oz. cans of packed pumpkin, half the amount of baking soda and baking powder, and added 1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice. So far, everyone LOVES them. My neighbors are practically drooling over them. Lol.
