Mexican Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
Excellent! I sautee the ground beef with onion and only half of the taco seasoning packet. I use the remainder of the packet to mix in with the sour cream/cream cheese mixture. The toppings are customizable. This is great for football parties and very fun for game nights at home. Thanks for the post.

Campfire Breakfast Sandwich

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
I just made these at home, although I longed to cook these with a hobo toaster over a campfire. These are great little breakfast sandwiches that can easily be made in your own kitchen. We usually add a slice of canadien bacon or 2 slices of bacon or sausage patties. Thanks for the post.

This is a great base recipe. One can customize to their liking. The best soups are made with a little of this and a pinch of that and a lot of love. Thanks for the post.

Sausage Crescent Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
This was really, really good. I first had this when a vendor/visitor brought this in for breakfast. I searched for this recipe and this is pretty darn close to what he brought in from a nice restaurant. I added some ground black pepper. I never would have thought to have this for breakfast. Thanks for the post.

This was really good and refreshing. I think though that next time I will squeeze the seeds and juice out but then use my mandolin slicer and slice the tomatoes up rather than leave them in halves. Thanks for the post.

Italian Confetti Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
Despite hating black olives I made this anyway and just picked them out of my serving. This was way too dry and I had to add ranch dressing. I think that the flavor would have been enhanced if I had added at least half of a dry packet of ranch dressing the night before and then ranch dressing itself the day of serving. Thanks for the post.

Very tasty. I pounded the chicken breasts flat and when I placed the cream cheese on the chicken to roll up I also added parsley, garlic powder, onion powder and ground black pepper. Thanks for the post.

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
We weren't crazy about the recipe as written. The second time I made it I used only one package of cream cheese, cut the sugar to 1/2 cup and added a squirt of lemon juice and just brushed the top with melted butter. It was much better this way. Also, I didn't put sugar on the top, just mixed up powdered sugar and a bit of milk and make a white glaze. Thanks for the post.

I am putting together a little cookbook for my sons, the oldest is graduating high school this year. This is one of the recipes that I am including in it. By the way, I love using the plastic slow cooker liners, they make for very easy cleanup! Thanks for an easy and tasty post.

Ham 'n' Swiss Rolls

I caught a sale on crescent rolls and for 33 cents a can I stocked up and went about looking on ways to use them up. This is a fun and easy recipe for afternoon snacks. I did add some ground black pepper and a shake of garlic powder. My son liked using a mustard dipping sauce with these. Thanks for the post.

I absolutely LOVE this! I cannot stop eating this! I didn't have fresh parsley so I just added dried into the mixture. I also added in a shake of garlic powder and ground black pepper. This was great on Ritz crackers!! I spread some of this on melba toast, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and paprika and broiled it for a minute and it was out of this world! Thanks for the post!
