The Best Doggy Biscuits!

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
I don't know the difference between flours, and I bought the most expensive kind of wheat flour, and I used the most expensive cornmeal mix, but I am still saving money, because my dogs love them so much that their eyes roll back in their heads, and I probably have saved lots of money considering how much I have made them, I decided to make them smaller so they will last longer. great recipe now if I could only make beer 4 my husband we would all be happy

My husband just loves these cookies! I find that the best results is to bake for ten and a half minutes, six cookies to a tray, for the right amount of crispness. Again, excellent!

Wonderful blend. Used it in Caroline's "Authenic Louisana Red Beans and Rice" found on this site and it turned out terrific. This is a keeper.

Authentic Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
I remember the first time my mom made this, I fell in love with it, but....it didn't taste nothing like this. This is absolutly fantastic. I didn't have the dried beans so I substituted Glory brand New orleans style canned beans, and I also used the creole seasoning found on this site. Unfortunatley I wasn't able to get any andouille so I used turkey sausage instead which wasn't bad at all, I can only imagine how much better it would have if I could have used andouille.

Awesome recipe! Followed it exactly, using peeled, boiled mashed sweet potatoes. It turned out perfectly. I will make this again, especially for Thanksgiving. Highly recommend it as the best sweet potato casserole I have ever tasted.

Fabulous Beef Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2007
DELICIOUS!! This will impress your guests! I made a 5 lb tenderloin and doubled the sauce to serve 6 with leftovers. Added a mix of oyster, cremini, and baby bella mushrooms last 15 minutes as suggested by other reviews. Served with potato gratin and green bean bundles from this site. This was a very impressive dish with minimal effort, although the cut of meat is expensive.

Super Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
I doubled this and took it into work for a group of about 12 with biscuits on the side - it went over very well. Traveled well in the crock pot - I made it on the stove the night before, poured into the crockpot and stored in the fridge overnight. The next morning I heated it on low for about an hour before serving.

A fool-proof recipe for a classic dessert bar. I used the fake lemon juice because I had it on hand, I'm sure it would step up a notch with the real stuff.
