Followed directions exactly. My family loved it. Very tasty. Great way to use up pasta. I especially liked the combination of provolone and sour cream.

This was a good recipes, but I felt like it needed something else. Maybe some fresh parsely or basil. Regardless, will make again. Thanks!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
It really turned out juicy! I had my doubts but it really worked. The flavor was fantastic. The skin looked so dry when I took it out of the over. The final step of basting it and letting it sit was the key to the excellent result. I will use this technique from now on!

Easy and very tasty. Excellent choice for a quick weeknight meal. Leftovers were great for lunch the next day. I followed the recipe and I can't think of a thing I would change.

Great flavor! I used whiting fillets and it was still very good. I always make extra sauce and I also sauted the garlic in butter before adding it to the fish.

Simple Pasta Salad

Excellent!!! Very easy, just involved some chopping, but I love recipes that I don't have to measure out all the ingredients perfectly. I added a can of black olives and I recommend using ZESTY Italian dressing. My family loved it!

Busy Day Barbeque Brisket

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
Pretty good and pretty easy and pretty hot. I couldn't believe how hot it turned out! I followed the recipe, exactly. I also thought it was overcooked. I probably should have watched it; my crockpot cooks hot. Anyway, probably not something I would make again but not too bad for a "busy day".

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
This was good but I don't think it was worth all of the work. I suppose if you did it in stages, it might have been easier. I was boiling chicken, making the sauce, and cooking the noodles all at the same time. It took a long time to get dinner on the table. When I work that hard, I want oohs and aahs. I didn't get any. Just a few "this is good" responses. I used a 10oz bag of fresh spinach. I didn't change anything else. I think it has way too much cheese. I would probably cut back on the mozz and add a little more parmesian on the top. Also, it barely fit into my 13x9 pan. I had to keep smashing it down as I was putting the layers together.

Raspberry French Silk Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2009
WAY TOO SWEET!!! The chocolate part was edible. The finished product was almost inedible. The only change I made was I didn't make my own pie shell. I don't think that could have made that much of a difference to the final taste. I whipped the chocolate filling for more than 2 minutes. It was terribly grainy, almost crunchy. The only thing I could suggest is to use sugar free jam. MAYBE that would help.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Not much to be said that hasn't already been said. Just so good and so fun to make. Next time I think I will add pecans or maybe raisins. They were fantastic as I made them but I think even better with a little something more. This was an easy recipe but it did take a lot of time and left quite a big mess! Of course it was worth it!

Pork and Veggie Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
I usually stay away from recipes with few reviews. I'm glad I was feeling adventurous today! This was definately one of the best. The flavor was outstanding. I made a few changes, which I don't think really changed the recipe, just tweaked it a little for my personal taste. I left out the onion, used no oil when frying, used 4 tsp of beef bullion and no salt. I would recommend more water. I used 6 cups and it still wasn't quite soupy enough for me. If I had only used 2 cups it would have burned up in my crock pot! I highly recommend this recipe and I can't wait to make it again and again!

We LOVE this recipe! My only regular change is taco seasoning in the meat. Last time I made it, I added a can of Rotel. I thought it gave it a little extra kick. This is definately on of my all time favorites. Easy, quick, and oh so delicious!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Way too hot for me! I am not a fan of "too hot". BF said "tangy" and his forehead didn't even sweat so I guess it was just me. My only change was using ranch dressing. It was a very nice looking pizza and I enjoyed the piece I had. It seemed like so few ingredients to have so much flavor! I'll try a milder hot sauce next time. I used Tabasco sauce.

Man-Lovin' Potatoes

I liked the texture and the taste was pretty good. I didn't add the onion. I thought the onion powder and garlic powder was a little strong. Actually, now that I think about it, EVERYTHING was strong except the bacon. This is a very flavorful and bold dish. Overall, this was an interesting dish but I will not be making it again.

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
I have always avoided fried rice because I didn't know what was in it. I was happy to make this at home. I changed things a little bit. I used broccoli instead of peas. I made bourbon chicken to go with it and I used the sauce from that instead of more soy sauce. 2 cups of rice was WAY too much, I used about 1 cup. My rice was very sticky. I followed the recipe, I guess it was the type of rice I used. I will definitely make this again!
