If you want to go the extra mile, cake balls can be rolled in nuts, sprinkles, coconut, etc. or double dipped in white and dark chocolates. Vanilla sugar is so simple to make, even with leftover beans that have been scraped out for other recipes. You just put a bean into some sugar and let it stand for a week or so. Sprinkle some on your cereal or toast, or stir it into hot milk or coffee.
