Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
My husband liked this so much, I had to make the exact same meal 2 days later with the leftover chicken. I did use 1/4 cup butter and played around with the honey/mustard ratio. I also put in some garlic powder and curry powder. I'm thinking this will be made often!!

This was really yummy! I forgot to add the butter, and it was still wonderful! I can't wait to try it with the butter!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2009
WONDERFUL. I made this recipe exactly as written, but added 1/4th cup white wine to the chicken/butter/italian dressing. This was so good. I took a bowl to my in-laws, and they suggested trying to make this with shrimp. I'll have to tweek the recipe, but I think that'll be even better! I will be making this often!!

This is how I make mine. Very easy, but messy due to frying in oil. You really can't beat a homemade taco shell!!

Crabby Cream Cheese Wontons

This is almost how I make mine, but I don't use the W. Sauce, and I add water chestnuts. Also, I just use water to seal the edges instead of egg whites. This is really yummy.

Enchilada Casserole III

This was really good, but done my way. I used leftover roast, which I seasoned up. Then, spread the beans over the tortillas, and THEN spread a layer of sour cream. That gave it the perfect tang!

Everybody gobbled this up. I used my hands to shread the pork, b/c it cooled to much. It was easier that way. Used Sweet Baby Ray's. Can't wait to make again.

Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes

Reviewed: May 22, 2009
I really liked this. I steamed some red potatoes in the microwave and while they were cooking, I cooked some peppers and onions in some butter. Took them out, and browned my kielbasa. Took that out, and browned my potatoes and added everything back together. I thought the potatoes were perfectly creamy but crisp from being browned. DELISH!

Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2009
I love these pancakes!! I usually add a little sugar and a little vanilla to make them more flavorful but they really don't need it. I have also incorporated whole wheat flour into the mix for a healthier version and my kids and husband still eat them up!!

very yummy sauce. My husband added broccoli, onion and green and red bell pepper. Made a wonderful meal. I wish I could try it w/o all the veggies. I bet that'd be good too!

Kathie's Grits Casserole

Yummy!! I added some pepper and a lot more garlic salt, and then butter to the pot. I then stirred in the cheese, egg and sausage. I poured it into the baking dish, then refrigerated overnight. I placed it on the counter for about 45 minutes, then baked. Super easy and very yummy!

Best Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
My husband and son really liked this. I thought it was so-so. Next time, I'll scale down the recipe, b/c 3 cups is a lot of rice. I also didn't use the right pot, b/c it burned the bottom of it. Yuck. That was my fault.

Oven Brown Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
So, I've made this twice. The first time I made it exactly, EXCEPT I forgot to add the butter. My husband found it in the micro. We thought it was ok, but the season salt overpowered it. The second time, YUMMY. I made it like the recipe stated, but just put a few dashes of the season salt. Then I added about a half of cup of onions and some dashes of worcestershire sauce. Next time, I might add some mushrooms. I recomend covering the rice for 60 minutes, and then taking it off and baking until the liquid is absorbed. That's how I cooked it the first time, and it took about 75 minutes to cook. The second time, I didn't cover it and it took way WAY longer.

Baked Asian-Style Honey Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
This made a jucy chicken breast, which I never can make happen. Since using breast, I cooked for about a total of 35 minutes. I also doubled the sauce, and then added one more batch when I turned them over. I don't know, I think it lacks a flavor but I don't know what it'd be.
