Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

This was very good. I expected it to be very spicy and it was but not so hot that my kids and reflux ridden husband could not enjoy it. We loved it.

Sauteed Green Beans

These are wonderful. I also added garlic as suggested. I used the cooked bacon that you buy and it only gives you a minimal amount of bacon grease and then added the butter. Every family member enjoyed them and I have some picky eaters.

Glazed Meatloaf II

My family loved this recipe, the lemon juice added an extra taste to the glaze. This is an added favorite at our house. I also used oatmeal instead of the bread.

Christmas Fruitcake

My family loved this recipe. We had planned to let it sit the customary week or longer but it didn't even last an hour. It was great but I would double or maybe triple it next time.

Saltimbocca alla Pollo

We loved this recipe, although I guess I wouldn't be a good cook if I didn't change "SOMETHING". I added half & half to the sauce and I didn't have pruscutto so I used bacon. The family didn't know the difference. But we all loved the wine sauce and garlic!!

Bread Pudding II

My family enjoyed this recipe, I added the praline sauce to it from the Cajun Bread Pudding Recipe I had to cook it longer than it called for. My boys said it tasted a lot like French Toast to them. Would make again.

Potato and Shiitake Mushroom Gratin

My husband Loves Potatos and we all love Mushrooms. This was great. I did not have the thyme and I didn't put the called for amount of rosemary (didn't have it) and it was awesome. This may even become a Thanksgiving and Christmas favorite.

Chinese Firecrackers

I loved this recipe and the greatest thing is that you can freeze them and reheat and they don't loose any flavor/taste. They are delicious. I think I may try them with ground pork next time though.

Pork Chop and Potato Casserole

The chops were great. Very tender and had a great taste. However I changed the recipe up a bit and the potatoes where still a bit bland to my taste. I sprinkled the chops with Season All before searing them. Also I used the Cream of Mushroom with Roasted Garlic and still thought the potatoes weren't all that great. I think next time I will add garlic and sprinkle the potatoes and onions with a lot more seasoning.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
