Mini Cheesecakes I

Yummy dessert! I used a graham cracker crust instead - I am not a big fan of vanilla wafers. These were so nice b/c you can have a small portion instead of a huge piece. I will make these again.

Sesame Noodles

YUMMY! This was delicious! I used the fresh noodles as some others had suggested. Wow - I will definitely be making this again. I thought I might add some chicken, but after tasting it, decided it didn't need it. Thanks for the recipe!

Big Ed's Cajun Shrimp Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2008
YUM! This was excellent and good for you too! I only had plain tomato juice so that is what I used. I also added a bit of Old Bay, but I bet if I had used V-8, it wouldn't have even needed that. I will find out next time. Thanks for such a great recipe! Okay, this time I made the soup with V-8. Honestly, I couldn't taste THAT much of a difference. Although, I will admit, it didn't need any Old Bay this way. Next time, I will probably make it with whatever's on sale - V-8 or tomato juice. Thanks again!

This was so delicious! I followed the recipe exactly. I used the parmesan that comes in the plastic bottle b/c I didn't have fresh and it was still wonderful. Thanks for the recipe!

Caesar Salad Supreme

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2008
I just realized, reading the recipe again before reviewing it, that I used ALL 6 cloves in the dressing. I used store-bought croutons, so I didn't even catch myself! It was SO garlicky and I wondered why. Now I know! Even so, it had a great flavor and I can't wait to try it again and do it right this time! Thanks for the recipe! New review: Okay, now I did it right this time, including making the croutons. Delicious! Everyone raved about the salad. I did saute the croutons a bit and then sprinkled them with Italian seasoning and some fresh Parmesan cheese and then baked them. Definite keeper!

World's Best Lasagna

This was good! I think that if it had had a little more spice, it would have been even better. Maybe add some red chili pepper flakes or use some spicy Italian sausage? I will try that next time. Thanks for the recipe!

Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa

This was good. I used a serrano pepper b/c that was all I had and it was spicy! This was very good. It did not keep well in the refrigerator though - I would recommend making a small batch if you don't have a lot of people eating it. Thanks for the recipe.

This was pretty tasty. It had a very nice flavor, but I am trying to try healthier options and this was quite greasy. However, like I said, it had a very nice flavor and I also spooned some of the sauce over rice. Thanks for the recipe.

I made this dip for a Daytona 500 party and it was a hit. It was pretty greasy, but what do you expect with all that cheese and beef?! I served it with rye bread toasts.

Pistachio Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
This was good! It had a very different taste than anything I have had before, but it was good and the kids liked it too! I also made with the raspberry sauce and it was a nice compliment. I will make again, but next time I will try and get the pistachios to a finer consistency. I put them in the food processor, but I think I will do it longer next time. Thanks!
