Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2009
These were really good! The only things I did different were: cooked the frozen chicken breasts on High for 4 and a half hours, shredded them up about 3 hours into cooking, and used a bottle of Frank's Hot Sauce instead of Buffalo Sauce because it was all I had. My husband LOVED them!

Slow Cooker Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
I tried this recipe because I wanted to cook something in my slow cooker besides meat! It wasn't very good at all. Not much flavor, and I even added a lot of garlic and italian seasoning. I undercooked the pasta and it was still mushy when it was done cooking. I make the Homestyle Bakes Pizza Pasta meal that comes in a box at the store and cooks in the oven that that is sooo much better than this. It's easier, quicker, and cheaper!

No Bake Cereal Cookies

Made these with Multigrain Cheerios and crunchy pb...yummy! I also made another batch, in which I used Wheat Chex(3 cups) and Rice Chex(3 cups). I added Raisins and Cinnamon along with crunchy pb...these were very good!

My husband loved these potatoes! I didn't think they were anything special, but they were good and really easy to make. I will be making these again.

Chocolate Walnut Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2006
My daughter and I just made this fudge. It is good!! The only thing I did differently...was lined my pan with aluminum foil to make them come out a little easier. My daughter asked if I would put them on the table, so she could eat them all day? NOT! I recommend this recipe! Easy and good!

Baby Blue Punch

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2006
Made this today for a baby shower, I followed the directions word for word. Mixed all the liquids and powder, and then tasted. The sugar was needed, as it tasted very tart without it. The punch turned out a very vibrant blue color, and when I added the vanilla ice cream it turned a very pretty baby blue color. The punch in no way looked "gross" or anything with the ice cream on top. Everyone really enjoyed this punch, and many asked for the recipe...and were surprised it was made with Kool-Aid.

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

Reviewed: May 20, 2006
This is a keeper! I used 2 cups half & half, along with 1 cup heavy cream. Came out beautifully. It might be the best cream pie base I've ever made.

This is the recipe my mom used to use. She would heat hers on the fire outside. Nothing better on a chilly night around the fire.
