Bourbon Chicken

Reviewed on Mar. 26, 2009 by beachcookn
The only changes that I made were - I used chicken breast cut into bite sized pieces. Instead of baking them, I cooked them on the stovetop in a covered skillet with the marinade. When the chicken was done, I removed it and reduced the marinade to use as a sauce. My husband could not stop raving about it and requested that next time I double the recipe. Next time I think that I will cut back on the amount of brown sugar and used chopped garlic instead of garlic powder.

Amish Sugar Cookies

We have made this recipe four times now and enjoy it more each time. We use hazelnut extract instead of vanilla and add the 1 tsp of salt. Delicous!

Honey Wheat Bread II

Reviewed on Sep. 8, 2007 by Clare
This is my first attempt at baking in many years, so I followed the recipe exactly, except I used bread flour instead of a/p flour. I also weighed my ingredients (metric) instead of using the cup measurements. This bread is great - chewy and light, with a hint of sweetness. Great recipe!
