Orange Sauce Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2007
I halved the chicken part of this recipe but made the full sauce amount. I took the advice of fellow reviewers and used less sugar. It was absolutely wonderful, not too tangy nor too sweet. I served this with brown rice and "Grandma's Green Bean Casserole". It was a wonderful combination and one that I will definitely make again and again.

Bacon Wrapped Barbeque Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2007
Absolutely delicious! I used McCormick grill seasoning (pepper, garlic, salt, etc.) and then every 5 minutes I basted the shrimp with barbecue sauce for some extra flavor. These were such an enormous hit - thank you for sharing!

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
I tried this recipe using roasted vegetable Ritz crackers with salt & pepper and 1/4 cup margarine per two thinly cut breasts. The cook time was approximately 25 minutes. The final dish is exactly as expected - moist and delicious! I highly recommend this recipe for the ease of preparation and end result. It also lends itself to easy modification. I will definitely use it in the future.

Apple Pork Chop Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2007
This was delicious! One teeny tiny addition: I sauteed some shallot in olive oil until soft, and then added the raisin and apple to the shallot & sauteed them a bit in the oil until softened, then proceeded with the stuffing prep.

Fish Fillets Italiano

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2007
My only modification was to use italian diced tomato. I also let the sauce simmer for about an hour to an hour to really meld the flavor. Then I steamed the cod in the sauce for about 5 minutes per side with the cover on the skillet, turned the heat off, but left the cover on while I tossed my linguine with store bought pesto, then put the cod on top of the pasta & poured the sauce over the whole thing. This was INCREDIBLE. A real show stopper! Thanks for the recipe.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2006
I had tasted a recipe similar to this last winter and was waiting for an occasion to make it. Like others, I cooked frozen chicken breasts and shredded them in a food processor and I used our favorite blue cheese dressing rather than ranch, and the Franks wing sauce. I took this this afternoon to Bengals party at my neighbors' home and EVERY bite was eaten. After the game was over, I had to walk home and print out 4 copies of the recipe to share. Great recipe, great Bengals victory. Sorry if you're a Steelers fan, but you had it coming after what happened last Januray. HOODEY!!!
