Smoked Oyster Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
I love smoked oysters out of a can. I've been trying to find a good spread for the oysters, and this is positively the best. A little lemon juice would be good also. Thanks, Proud Grandfather of 2

Brown Chicken Stock

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2008
This is absolutely the only way to make chicken stock. The browning of the chicken bones first gives this a rich, deep chicken flavor, perfect for any chicken dish needing broth. Use turkey bones tha same way. Delicious!!!!

Quick Angel Hair with Basil Cream for One

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
This dish was AWESOME! It seriously tasted like something from Olive Garden. The only thing I did different was that I added a small handful of mozzerella cheese to the sauce and I didnt use any of the pasta water. I also sauted some shrimp in butter and a clove of minced garlic and it turned out perfect! I will be making this one again and again!

Thank You!! I love trying different things. My wife is a plain, meat and potatoes person from Ky. She hates coffee, and I fixed this for her and she loved it. This was very delicious!

This is Delicious. The second time I omitted tomatoes, Italian seasoning, & Parsley and added smoked sausage and diced potato. Very good also.

This was awesome, my family loved it and requested it again the following weekend. I made double the sauce so there was extra for mashed potatoes. This has earned a five star rating.

Easy Dump Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
I made this for the first time to take on a trip....Feel like I wasted alot of ingredients as I threw it away. My cake never seemed to bake all the way through and the outside seemed to get tough and dried out. The inside was still mushy. Maybe I will try again but was disappointed after my first try.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
I always use frozen stawberries for this recipe. The jello is then firm enough to pour right over the cream cheese filling. I ALWAYS spray my dish with Pam and have never had any trouble removing the salad. My family requests this at every get together, when they were little my granddaughters would just say they wanted me to make the "red stuff."

I have made this recipe for the past 30 years for my family. I follow the recipe exactly except for the pickles. I serve my rouladen and gravy over homemade spatzle. There are never any leftovers.

This was an okay recipe but I put mine in a crockpot for eight hours and then shed with two forks and pour the BBQ sauce over and mix. This way you just walk away from it.

Just wondering why people give recipes 5 stars and then alter the entire recipe how does one get 5 stars from that? Thought these cookies were great and made them just as the recipe stated.

Zucchini Cornbread Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
This is my favorite way to use Zucchini! I love any type of squash but my family usually won't even try it. This is the exception! I made this exactly as written except I squeezed the water out of zucchini as others suggested. I also cut back on the amount on onions and slightly sauteed them before adding to the rest of mixture. Turned out beautifully! I will make this again and again! Thanks for sharing!

I love this recipe! I made it and baked it in the same day. I also added a tsp of garlic powder by mistake(thought I was adding onion powder)And added a cup or so of med. cheddar. I was afraid I had ruined it with the garlic but it was fabulous! I will make these again and Much Thanks for sharing!

The flavor was good but I must of done something wrong. I followed others suggestions and covered the dish. I also baked longer than stated based on the others, but Mine came out slightly dry. Will keep looking for a recipe that gives consistent results.
