Baked Honey Nut Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
My husband said, "I'd pay to eat this in a restaurant, you have to make this again!" I used boneless chicken breasts and followed the recipe exactly. I drizzled some honey over the top before serving. Gave the coating a little extra sweetness and moisture. YUMMY!

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
I did as other reviewers suggested and used 1 can of cheddar cheese soup and 1 cream of chicken. Next time I'm just going to stick to the original recipe. It didn't have a cheesy taste in the end. Just stick to the original recipe on this one!

This was WONDERFUL! Cake was super moist, great taste, no changes necessary! As a personal tweak, next time I may double the brown sugar/cinnamon topping.

We didn't like this sauce at all. The sauce was too sweet but had a STRONG vinegar smell. Won't be making it again.

Barbeque Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
This recipe was pretty good. I used breasts instead of drumsticks. I omitted the salt and water and added cayenne as others suggested. You will want to triple the sauce if you want extra, and cornstarch is required!

Spaghetti Salad III

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
Made this for a summer cookout. It was good the day I made it, but FANTASTIC a couple days later. I used the parmesean cheese as others suggested instead of the cheddar cheese and I think that was an excellent choice! It was light, flavorful, and delcious! (I'm having leftovers today for lunch!)

Easy Key Lime Pie I

I thought this was good for how quick it was to fix, but I wish it had more of a lime taste and less of the sweetened condensed milk taste.

Crispy Chicken Strips

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
I didn't have the seasoning so I used 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp thyme and another reviewer suggested. I broiled it for the last 2 minutes to give it an extra crunchy top. The texture was GREAT, but after trying it, I had to add a tiny bit of seasoned salt for flavor.

Really great recipe! The only thing I changed was adding the ziti and sauce together (as others suggested). Served with garlic breadsticks.

Great recipe! Mine ended up being more like a banana cake... I used to 9x13 baking dish which I'm sure made the difference. I added a dash of cinnamon to the batter.. will definitely be repeating this recipe!

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2008
Great mixture of spices and lime! I was a little nervous adding the 2 teaspoons of garlic powder during the last 5 minutes because I was afraid it would be overpowering, it wasn't at all. It was the PERFECT balance! I used chicken tenders for this recipe, I thought it gave more flavor than if I had used chicken breasts. SO YUMMY!!

Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2008
"WORTH DYING FOR"...This is identical to my mother's recipe for pound cake and she has made it for years. We also call it the funeral cake because she always takes it to someone's home during times of mourning. I think she may have found it in Southern Living magazine. Nothing beats it. Try it for breakfast, warmed up in the toaster oven with a bit of butter and simply fruit black-rasberry spread on it. DIVINE!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
I thought it was FANTASTIC, my husband thought it had a bit too much onion (and I only used 3/4 onion) Next time I may just try onion powder. I loved the biscuits on top.. I put them in about an hour before serving, it gave them plenty of time to cook. I actually prefer this to the "real" thing!

Creamy Garlic Mushroom Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
My husband said 5 stars, I give it 3.. so I settled for 4! I used the condensed cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic... I think the garlic was really overpowering.. Next time I may just use cream of mushroom and add a little minced garlic for flavor.. I would defnitely serve it with pasta, there is plenty of sauce, and in my case, I needed something to tone down the sauce a bit... not bad.. just needs a few adjustments..
