Good place to start. Very little flavor as written and pretty dry...need to increase the sauce. Will definitely make again but will tweak to add some flavor.

Chili Dog Casserole I

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
I was VERY surprised but this was really, really good. My husband agreed. The only change I made was turning the whole buns crust side up and toasting them a bit before I put the chili mixture on top. I used Castleberry hotdog chili which isn't too great on its own but in this recipes was good. I left off the mustard because I was skeptical but ended up adding it before serving...it really made the dish.

This was very easy but just "OK" taste wise. We kinda struggled through the leftovers. I think I prefer the golden mushroom, french onion and sour cream combination more.

Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
Great 'go to' recipe for a busy day - quick, easy, and much healthier than take-out. I did bake the chicken at 375 degrees instead of frying. Also, in place of the vegetable oil and butter, I mixed 1-2 tsp olive oil in with the bread crumb mixture before coating the chicken. Makes the chicken very crispy and yummy! Be careful not to over-cook. Check after 15 to 20 minutes.

Pesto Pizza

Easy and excellent! We used Kalamata olives and omitted the tomato and green pepper (none on hand). Doubled up on the artichokes and it was marvelous. We even used WalMart pre-made crust and it was better than the higher priced 'brand' name-- who knew? We'll be making again!!

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
A life-saver for a large Thanksgiving crowd! With 25 guests, this was so easy to do a day ahead then re-warm and mix in with the 22 lb. turkey. So easy, fast, low-fat (no butter!), and tasty. Be sure to double check the size of your turkey breast. Mine finished cooking in ~4 hours, not the 8 hrs listed. Definitely will make again.

Don't skimp on the French Fried onion brand.. If you get the off brand, it will ruin the recipe (I made that mistake)

Baked Honey Nut Chicken

My husband said, "I'd pay to eat this in a restaurant, you have to make this again!" I used boneless chicken breasts and followed the recipe exactly. I drizzled some honey over the top before serving. Gave the coating a little extra sweetness and moisture. YUMMY!

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

I did as other reviewers suggested and used 1 can of cheddar cheese soup and 1 cream of chicken. Next time I'm just going to stick to the original recipe. It didn't have a cheesy taste in the end. Just stick to the original recipe on this one!
