Smothered Bacon Chicken

I added a dash of pepper. Next time I think I will add a couple of other spices, fresh mushroom, and maybe crisp the bacon separately.

Ratatouille

I used a 2.2 qt casserole dish, but it was still full to overflowing. Overall taste was okay- I did sprinkle the Parm with a heavy head. Next time I will sautee the garlic & onions & peppers together in a separate pan, and add some other spices- Italian seasoning blend perhaps.

Baked Ham Sandwiches

We have been making a version of this in my family for years...we use the little square dinner rolls and slice the package in half and we also use mozzerella cheese too...yum!

Penne with Chicken and Pesto

The sauce turned out a little thin for my preference. Next time, I will use only 3/4 cup of cream, 1/3 cup of pesto, and more parmesan. Overall the flavor was wonderful.

Easy Sugar Cookies

When i saw the amazing reviews given to this recipe i thought this was the one to serve for my sons class end of the year party. I had them perfect and decorated and when my son tried one he said "mom i told you to make me sugarcookies for my class not scrambbled eggs!" These cookies tasted exactly like scrmmbled eggs. Do not make these cookies. I followed the recipe exactly right. Im warning you dont eat them.

Super Easy Salmon Cakes

the recipe called for way too much brums! I ended up using 2/3 cup of breadcrubs in the mix, and that was it. Overall were pretty good. Next time I will sautee onions & celery in garlic prior to shaping patties.

Pleasant Pork Chops

I used a couple of shallots instead of onions, and ended up taking them off the stovetop after 30 minutes (they were still a little tough for my taste). Next time I make this receipe I'll have a side of egg noodles.
