Easy Garlic Ginger Chicken

Reviewed on Jun. 16, 2009 by BamaHaole
I agree with other reviewers that the amount of lime is way too much. I cut the limes down to two but it was still overpowering (and I like lime flavor). The chicken was much better after we salted it, but we really couldn't taste the ginger or garlic. The recipe really needs some salt added either to the marinade or on to the chicken just before you put it on the grill. I recommend a flavored salt like Tony Chachere's (which also has a little kick). I might also try adding some chile flavor next time. By the way, I don't understand all the reviewers on here who completely changed the recipe but rated and reviewed anyway. My review is for the recipe, as is.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed on Apr. 7, 2009 by SHARONAIR
Really good...used mostly fat free and low sodium ingredients, skipped the butter, used broth instead of water, added a can of veg all and used 1 10 oz can of reduced fat biscuits. Took 2 hrs to cook the biscuits even after I rolled them flat and cut them into strips using a pizza cutter. Used chicken tenderloins, and it needed to be cooked about 4 hours on High before I shredded it. Served over mashed potatoes...YUM! My boyfriend and my neighbor ate it all! Will def. make again!

Anna's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed on Mar. 31, 2009 by MUD30
I just finished making these cookies and this recipe has become one of my new favorites for chocolate chip cookies. I followed the recipe as written and they turned out perfectly. I formed the dough into teaspoon size and the cookies are puffy and moist in the middle. My husband and kids LOVE them, I will definetly be using this recipe again, since I don't think that they'll last very long around here! Thanks for the great recipe!!!
