The recipe is great except for the amount of sugar. It came out too sweet. Next time I would reduce the sugar alot.

Pie Crust Mix

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
I made this recipe using butter flavored crisco instead of the lard and it was wonderful. I also used self-rising flour so I didn't need to measure the baking powder and salt. I will make this one again and again. I used it for fruit pies, pumpkin pie, and chicken pot pie. It is SO versitle. It is SO flaky. I don't know how long the mix will keep because it was such a hit that I keep using it all up. Thanks for such a wonderful recipe.

Krissy's Best Ever Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2009
I used splenda instead of sugar and because of that i had to use twice as much baking powder and cut down 6 minutes of baking time (splenda makes muffins kinde flat grrr). I also used evaporated milk instead of normal milk. it turned out AMAZING!!! I'm definitely serving this at a party. Honey-licious!

Easy Oatmeal Muffins

I love this recipe. For a variation, I used 3 instant oatmeal packets because I was out of regular oatmeal. It is wonderful with fruit and cream varieties or just the flavored ones. You can make any flavor this way really fast. I now keep lots of different kinds of instant flavors because this is requested so often by my kids also. Thanks for a wonderful recipe.

Orange Loaf

I added the extra 1/4 cup margarine that was recommended and boiled the glaze a little longer and it was wonderful!! My family said I could make this as often as I want to. I made it into two smaller loaves and one loaf was gone before they even cooled completely. Will make lots and lots!! Thanks for a wonderful recipe!!

I used this recipe as a marinade for my steaks and it was wonderful. They had better flavor than the pouches that you can buy. Thanks so much for this recipe.

Quick and Easy Brownies

Reviewed: May 8, 2009
I made these in a jelly roll pan so that they would go farther and I might end up with one because I didn't from the last batch. They are wonderful. My husband is SO picky about his brownies. He hates cake brownies and I have now made this recipe 6 times already. They turn out wonderful even in the jelly roll pan. I cut back on the baking time and they were wonderful. I did cut back on the flour to 1 cup total. They were wonderful!!!! Thanks so much for this wonderful recipe!!!!

Ratatouille

I used a 2.2 qt casserole dish, but it was still full to overflowing. Overall taste was okay- I did sprinkle the Parm with a heavy head. Next time I will sautee the garlic & onions & peppers together in a separate pan, and add some other spices- Italian seasoning blend perhaps.
