About me:
I learned to cook by hanging out in the kitchen with my mother, my grandmother, and my aunts. The duty of making supper was passed to me when I was in high school, and I've been cooking ever since! (That was a long time ago)

Chocolate Crinkles II

The recipe is great except for the amount of sugar. It came out too sweet. Next time I would reduce the sugar alot.

Pie Crust Mix

Reviewed on Sep. 29, 2009 by Heather
I made this recipe using butter flavored crisco instead of the lard and it was wonderful. I also used self-rising flour so I didn't need to measure the baking powder and salt. I will make this one again and again. I used it for fruit pies, pumpkin pie, and chicken pot pie. It is SO versitle. It is SO flaky. I don't know how long the mix will keep because it was such a hit that I keep using it all up. Thanks for such a wonderful recipe.

Krissy's Best Ever Corn Muffins

Reviewed on Jul. 27, 2009 by bluelitzer
I used splenda instead of sugar and because of that i had to use twice as much baking powder and cut down 6 minutes of baking time (splenda makes muffins kinde flat grrr). I also used evaporated milk instead of normal milk. it turned out AMAZING!!! I'm definitely serving this at a party. Honey-licious!
