I am a home economics teacher and I am suprised that this recipe had such a high rating. I tried this in 3 different classes and the results each time were the same. Very bland - would not recommend to anyone!

This was a yummy way to use up some leftover cranberry sauce from Thanksgiving. I actually think these muffins tasted better cold. Next time I might put in some more nuts :) A definate keeper :)

Italian Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
i thought these were great so flavorful i added some italian seaosnings to give the hamburger a bit of flavor... word of caution... my boyfriend prefers soft taco shells. NEVER USE SOFT TACO SHELLS trying to appease him they just turned out bad. the soft taco shell ruined it.

6 Stars....very yummy. Better than marshmellows. There is a lot of sugar....I might use less next time. I steamed my sweet potatos before I mashed them... I will make this again and again!

Slow Cooker Kielbasa and Beer

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
Wow......I had high hopes for this recipe but I couldn’t even eat it. I think the biggest thing is to not use kielbasa but a polish sausage. I was a little confused when other reviews said to brown the kielbasa. Any kielbasa i ever had has a real soft skin...not something easy to brown. My kielbasa was ready to liquefy after 4 hours of cook. I used Fat Tire beer which I like to drink....but I just couldn’t eat this. My husband said he will eat the leftovers but I think he said it to be polite. Do yourself a favor and skip this one....or have a pizza ready for back up.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
ive made this recipe twice now... and i like it but definately read the reviews... using frozen chicken is the best, biscuits take about 90 minutes... use canned veggies about 5 minutes before serving give or take and NEVER use butter milk busicuits. =) i love this recipe it is so good. i always add salt and pepper and some other seasonings to taste. it really is wonderful and is the one thing my boyfriend has said was good. =)

Glazed Carrots

When I read the recipe my first reaction was "Ew" but then I thought "mmm....ranch." So I gave it a whirl tonight for dinner. It is better than plain boiled carrots.......its like a weird sweet ranch. I think it might be a good sauce on popcorn. Kind of a sweet and salty flavor :)

Wonderful recipe. I use 2 tablespoons on freshly diced onion in place of minced onion. One time when I made this, I substituted 4 oz. of sour cream and a few splashes of chicken broth. I used just a tad of cornstarch and water to thicken the sauce to my desired consistancy. The family loves it!

i love this, my mom calls it trash and thats what i grew up knowing it as because mom always had to make so much of it you mixed it in a trash bad (un-used of course) =) this will always be a memory of my childhood and when i have kids will be a staple in my house.

this recipe was okay... it is really easy to overcook the chicken and the chicken actually tastes better when you heat it through in the soup. all in all it was pretty goood, it lacked some flkavor so it needs some perfecting. please let me know if you come up with something to add to this wonderful recipe to make it even better.

this recipe was really easy for only 2 people. I used cream of mushroom soup because i had that on hand with the celery soup and it turned out just as good. I had italian style meatballs and to add a bit more flavor to the soups i added seasonings but still turned out pretty good.

i made this recipe the first time i ever cooked for my boyfriend. He loved it. I added more cheese and paired with a classic risotta (which is easier to make than it looks) and paprike broccoli. It was a great dinner. i'll use this one always.
