Anna's Amazing Easy Pleasy Meatballs over Buttered Noodles

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2008
this recipe was really easy for only 2 people. I used cream of mushroom soup because i had that on hand with the celery soup and it turned out just as good. I had italian style meatballs and to add a bit more flavor to the soups i added seasonings but still turned out pretty good.

Italian Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2008
i made this recipe the first time i ever cooked for my boyfriend. He loved it. I added more cheese and paired with a classic risotta (which is easier to make than it looks) and paprike broccoli. It was a great dinner. i'll use this one always.

Italian Cookies I

Very light and tasty. I used a half cup less flour than called for and the dough was still extremely stiff. Added a tsp of almond. Added the confectioners glaze. Will make again.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

My rating doesn't reflect the recipe but it reflects what I ended up with. What did I do wrong? I followed the directions I thought but my rolls turned out like rocks. Over-kneaded? Help. Thanks

Monterey Chicken with Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
it was good changed it from mexican to italian because i did not have mexican cheese on hand at the time however, definately needs salt and pepper as well as seasonings, and cook the potatos longer than 10 minutes the first go around. Most of ours were cooked but many were still hard. i would guess about 15 to 20 minutes longer the first time so that you do not dry the chicken out the second cooking time.

Crispy Potato Wedges

these are amazing i use red potatoes and then judge cooking time from there are they are smaller pieces. My mom uses steak seasoning with out the garlic and salt and i use italian seasoning without the garlic and they are just as tasty

i had to be creative with this recipe as i did not have averything on had and i wanted it to be faster. so i used a fair amount of italian seasonings rather than buying them all seperately. and it really was amazing.... it really is foolproof

i loved this recipe. I used a few variations offered in reviews and made my own bread crumbs. i even ate the leftovers at work the next day and it was still moist and great. I always like to add extra cheese so it was really amazing. My boyfriend and his brother loved it too.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2008
Very good. I only had 9 by 5 pans so it was harder to know where to stop filling the pans. Also wrap the loaves in saran wrap while still very warm so all that moisture stays in the bread. WIll make again, with the right pans.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
I love these cookies. Unfortunately I didn't have any molasses so I made them without it and I still think they were great. Also when all the ingredients were added I think my dough was a little crumbly so I added some orange juice until moist enough to roll into balls. Came out perfectly and stayed nice and soft all week.

When my kids have seconds & even THIRDS of something it's definetly a winner!! I made it almost exactly the same except I put it together in a casserole dish & baked it in the oven instead of the stove top. Wonderful!!
