Rich Chocolate Truffle Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
I used an almost identical recipe from Taste of Home's "Best of Country Pies." I didn't sift the sugar, since my recipe didn't call for that step. It called for three hours of refrigeration, but my pie got four. It turned out great. It had a very intense chocolate flavor.

Italian Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
i thought these were great so flavorful i added some italian seaosnings to give the hamburger a bit of flavor... word of caution... my boyfriend prefers soft taco shells. NEVER USE SOFT TACO SHELLS trying to appease him they just turned out bad. the soft taco shell ruined it.

Triple-Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
I only used half the mustard indicated, because my family doesn't care much for mustard. I thought it came out too dry, but my family said they liked it like that. They liked the recipe a lot and want me to make it again soon. They didn't think it tasted cheesy enough, though, so next time I'll omit the mild cheddar and double the sharp cheddar. Of course, then it will no longer be "Triple-Cheese Macaroni."

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
ive made this recipe twice now... and i like it but definately read the reviews... using frozen chicken is the best, biscuits take about 90 minutes... use canned veggies about 5 minutes before serving give or take and NEVER use butter milk busicuits. =) i love this recipe it is so good. i always add salt and pepper and some other seasonings to taste. it really is wonderful and is the one thing my boyfriend has said was good. =)

Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
This was my first time making chili and I can't believe how easy this was. I used a red onion, if it makes any difference, added a bit of bbq spice, and a bay leave while simmering. I love how hearty and filling it is for the fact that its turkey. Will definitely make again and again

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
I won't be trying this recipe again. The only thing I liked was the flavor of the seasonings with the pepper, mustard, and flour. The amount of processed cheeses in this is unreal. I had cheese sticking to my teeth and fork. I had to throw away all the leftovers. next time I'll use different cheeses like some other reviewers.

Sometimes you just can't beat Walkers Shortbread. I didn't find this recipe that fantastic. I added a little almond extract and rolled them out into cookies. Not sure what went wrong.

Two Ingredient Pumpkin Cake

After taking the advice from others I also added 2 eggs, really eggbeaters, and a 1/4 c sugar. I also added a few shakes of cloves, ground allspice, and nutmeg and a tbs of vanilla. It was still easy to make and tasted great with cream cheese frosting.

Amazing! I made as directed and rolled half in confectioners sugar and then with the other half I added some raspberry flavoring and rolled in cocoa mixed with confectioners sugar becuase the cocoa was unsweetened. Will make over and over again.

Cheddar Broccoli Chicken and Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
this recipe was okay... it is really easy to overcook the chicken and the chicken actually tastes better when you heat it through in the soup. all in all it was pretty goood, it lacked some flkavor so it needs some perfecting. please let me know if you come up with something to add to this wonderful recipe to make it even better.

Brenda 's Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
this recipe has the right mix of ingredients for me. I love this yummy basic lasagna. I had a pan that was a little too big I think so I had to freestyle with the ingredients a little by adding almost another whole jar of sauce and grabbing some munster cheese I had leftover. I also added 2 packets of splenda to the sauce mixture for a hint of sweetness. I highly recommend this recipe.
