Reviewed: May 14, 2008
This was good, I added two packages of italian dressing. Made homemade bread and had cheddar cheese on top.

Carry Cake with Strawberries and Whipped Cream

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
I was not impressed at all, total waste of money, ingredients and time. The cake was very sweet and the topping never formed. I ended up throwing this out. I am in search of the perfect strawberry shortcake and this is far from it. It may taste ok with a chocolate frosting, but nothing that is to sweet as the cake is sweet enough.

Chicken and Bowtie Pasta with Asiago Cream Sauce

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
This was a good recipe. I had left over chicken from the ranch kabobs I made the previous night, so I used that and instead of prosciutto, I used pepperoni. I also had left over mushroom and squash that was just grilled with salt, that I added. Very good and made a nice meal without feeling like I was eating left overs.

Rosemary Marinated Lamb Chops

Reviewed: May 5, 2008
These were ok, the dressing on the side was the best. I think the lamb needed a little more flavor. Lamb is one of my favorite meats. Cook time as also off. I marinated for about 8 hours. I will make again with some changes, for instance adding salt and pepper to the meat and making more of the marinade to cook on the side.

Honey Bun Cake I

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
This is a good cake, read the reviews of others and decided to make minor changes. I only used half a cup of brown sugar and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. I also changed the glaze only because it did not taste right. I used 2 cups confectioners sugar, 3 tbls milk and 1 tsp of vanilla. With those changes the cake was great, but more like a coffee cake with glaze. All in all I will make this again, its an easy recipe.

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
This was delish! I didn't quite have enough sauce and it was still wonderful. I also added more spices to the meat while it was cooking. It was even great the next day for lunch. Thank you for the recipe!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2008
I have found the perfect biscuit. I don't think I will every go back to store brand. They were quick and easy and I ate way to many. I added the whole cup of milk although I should have stopped at about 3/4 c. The whole cup make the dough sticky, but the biscuits were great.

Self-Filled Cupcakes I

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
OMG these were great. They will now be my go to recipe for cupcakes. I use a combination of regular chips and chopped chipped. I had extra filling left, next time, I will add more filling into the cupcakes. Nice and moist and nice surprise in the middle.

Creamy Frosting

Good frosting, very buttery. Followed the advice of the first reviewer and consistently mixed the butter/flour mixture until thick. No lumps, nice consistency when completed.

The Best Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2008
These need just a bit more flavor. I added crushed pineapple and took another reviewers suggestion and after browning the meatballs, put them in the sauce and baked it for about 40 minutes. I am glad I added the pineapple, next time I will add seasoning to the meat first.

Spaghetti Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2008
This was really good, I did not really measure, I just added as much of the ingredients as I thought looked good. The only thing I omitted was the onion. I added some Italian seasoning for a little added flavor. Next time I think I will add parm cheese as this has more flavor than mozzarella.
