Quick Greek Pasta Salad with Steak

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2008
My husband and I loved this salad. I didn't use the olive oil, but other than that, I made the salad as written. This is something I would serve to dinner guest along with a Greek salad.

Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2007
I'm rating this recipe because of the cream of celery soup. I've made my chicken and dumplings from scratch for many years (this year I used frozen dumplings...I'm getting lazy.) Adding the cream of celery soup put my dish over the top. Thanks!!!

Candy Cane Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2007
I love this recipe, although I would not call it fudge! The taste is fabulous, I love the candy canes mixed with white chocolate! I do have one suggestion though, I would use a bigger pan than the 8x8, cause this stuff was so thick. I had everyone cutting their pieces in half. But it was gone in no time. Thanks for a delicious recipe!!

The taste was mostly peanut butter but the cookie wouldn't hold together. The next day, when you tried to pick one up, they just crumbled. Too costly and not that good, to try again.

Chewy Coconut Cookies

These are one of the best cookies I've ever made. I added 1/2 chopped pecans and increased the vanilla to 1 teaspoon as others suggested. They were done in 10 mins. and are moist and chewy.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
So many times recipes call for rubs that end up only flavorful if you get the outside where the rub touched. This recipe's rub soaked throughout the chicken and was delicious. I only had to cook the chicken for 4 hours for a 4 lb. bird. Don't overcook or you'll dry it out...check starting at 4 hours.

Apple Crisp III

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
I doubled this recipe and made it in a deep 9x13 pan. I used more cinnamon and added a dash of vanilla to the filling as well. It disappered so fast I only got a teeny weeny little taste. I'm going to use different apples the next time though. I did not care for the tartness of the Granny Smith apples. I'm also going to try this with peaches instead of apples, and I'll bet cherries would be a treat too.

Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2007
I rated this as a four because I think it was probably a good recipe...I totally botched it. I used too much cheese (if you can imagine that), I used more meat, as suggested by other reviewers, and I STILL couldn't taste anything but the cheese. Plus, I used oven ready noodles...I will never do that again! I will try this one again though, and maybe follow closer to the actual recipe instead of changing it so much.
