Quick Angel Hair with Basil Cream for One

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
This was wonderful! A perfect sauce. I did make a few revisions - I used 1/2 cup of whipping cream and 1/2 cup of milk - I don't like pasta that is too rich...I also added some chopped mushrooms, fresh diced tomatoes as a topping and I added a pinch of nutmeg to the sauce. The taste was wonderful and my husband was licking the plate! Thanks for this wonderful recipe!

Peach Pie the Old Fashioned Two Crust Way

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2009
At my house we rate our meals - my husband rated this pie five stars! It was very yummy. I did add 1/2 tsp of almond extract to this pie, I love peach and almond together, it came out perfect and it was delicious...I did do a bit of my famous pie crust decoration to this one! Loved by all who tried it and made the neighbors jealous!! Thanks for this superb recipe!

Mama's Best Broiled Tomato Sandwich

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
This was amazing...I never thought I would say that about a tomato sandwich. I did make a small change, I used 2 tsp parmesan cheese and I added a little sharp cheddar to the top of each tomato. I made this for my kids for dinner and ordered out for my husband and I...we ended up putting the take out in the fridge and making these delicious sandwiches for ourselves too! My husband asked if we could have it again tonight! Thanks for sharing this fantastic recipe!

Creamy Swiss Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
I have to agree...the wine amount was too much. I used half the amount and it still was too much. I also used half sour cream and half cream cheese (didnt have enough sour cream) and it was good. I still think it needs something else? The chicken was very moist though.

Chunky Tomato Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2007
I liked this....I was out of a few of the ingredients, but even then, it was a terrific stew. I added 2 teaspoons of sugar to give it a more "Brunswicky" taste...LOL. I am not a fan of tomato sauces, but with the addition of sugar it made it a very tastey dish for me! Thanks a bunch!
